Judicial report: Weather: Fine S. Blackburn, trainer of Faithful Mittens was fined $100.00 in terms of Rule 269.3 when the greyhound Faithful Mittens was presented with a weight variance (-1.6k) in excess of the allowed margin. The greyhound was a late scratching, following kennelling.
The negligence of the Weighing Steward, W Mudgway, for his failure to be cognisant
of the weight variance being excessive when the greyhound was initially weighed, has
been referred to the AGRC for their further action.

Graphics raced towards the middle rounding the bend until checked badly when squeezed towards the rail by Head Sharang - Graphics being forced to lift her head slightly towards the rail when checked and was out of contention from that point. |
