Judicial report: Weather: Fine RP O'Regan, owner/trainer of Classic Tyler, the winner of race 1 elected to plead guilty to a breach of Rule 322.1 (b) in that his charge had failed to pursue during the running. The greyhound was suspended for one month up to and including the 13 August 2004 in terms of Rule 322.2 (a) and is required to undertake a satisfactory trial in terms of Rule 179.1 before racing again.

Shes Home Soon and Classic Tyler broke clear from the field after the initial leader Iron Woman was checked badly from behind and then was squeezed back between dogs. Later in running Iron Woman was skewed sideways when Dissipate checked her moving off the track inner. Classic Tyler, the winner, was subect to a suspension post race when deemed guilty of failing to pursue. Classic Tyler - suspended for one month to 13 August 2004. |

| Race 5 | JIMBO'S PETFOODS SPRINT FEATURE - C2 - 318 | Miss Tibet, from the outside draw, ran quickly to the front and held until Kiwi Fire, moving out, climbed over Miss Tibet's hind quarters causing her to drop back through the field. Turf Muncher took control and led the field into the straight, looking the likely winner until beginning to drift and ending up towards the rear. Miss Tibet was found to have been injured during the running at a post race veterinary examination. Miss Tibet - 5 days to 18.07.04. |
