Race 1	ASR SPRAY PAINTING SPRINT - C0 - 305	I.Moore the Trainer of PITSTOCK JAZZ was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 135 (1) after arriving very late at the kennels before the race. PITSTOCK JAZZ was slow to begin and settled in last place. KEEN ACE moved across on the first corner and tightened SEXY MOVER and AGGIE'S STASH who lost several lengths and never recovered. LORD CAUCI and LORD PLACARD collided on the bend and LORD CAUCI dropped back quickly and stayed back.
Race 2	SUPERIOR CATERING DASH - C1 - 305	All clear.
Race 3	SPICERS PAPER STAKES - C0q - 520 Heat 1	SABRE STRIKE and ROSIE'S DAUGHTER ran very wide on the first bend and SABRE STRIKE dropped out to finish a long last. The dog was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 4	RUSH HIRE IMPROVERS '305' - C1 - 305	BRAVE GYPSY began very awkwardly and lost several lengths. REAL LIFE was struck from behind by JUDGEREINGOLD on the first corner and turned sideways, making contact with LION RED CAPP. They then ran wide and all three lost several lengths and never recovered.
Race 5	DOUBLE 'S' MOTORDROME DASH - C1 - 305	All clear.
Race 6	WANGANUI SECURITY SERVICES STAKES - C0q - 520 Heat 1	GLORIA'S MATE collided with the hind quarters of JUSTA SILVERSTAR on the first corner then ran out and pushed CADMUS very wide on the bend. GLORIA'S MATE then dropped out to finish a long last and was examined by the Vet and cleared of any injury. FLIRTATION. Trainer Caffell/Jackson. Scratched without penalty due to family circustances preventing attendance at the meeting.
Race 7	EXCEED '520' - C1 - 520	All clear.
Race 8	METEOR PRINTERS SPRINT - C1 - 305	FLIRTATION was scratched without penalty due to some family circumstances preventing the Trainer attending the meeting. One of the favourites MAD CAREW was the slowest away and then experienced some traffic problems when attempting to improve.
Race 9	ANDERSON'S FOR MEN STAKES - C1 - 520	TORAH BALE was scratched due to thigh muscle soreness. STRAHKAN was checked entering the back straight and dropped back quickly onto KIWI MANA and they lost any chance of a placing. TORAH BALE. Trainer S.Gommans. Rule 259 Suffering from thigh muscle soreness, was presented and stood down for 7 days to and including 14.07.04.
Race 10	HOUSE OF TRAVEL DASH - C2 - 305	ENROLLMENT ran in from the start and jostled CALM FLOW for several strides. RUSTY ROVER was also hindered by the inward movement of ENROLLMENT.
Race 11	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS '520' - C2 - 520	SHAY LAMOUR and SON OF SARABI were checked back to the rear on the first corner and they stayed well back throughout.
Race 12	DISPLAY ASSOCIATES '305' - C3 - 305	RUSTY COCONUT was scratched due to suffering from diarrhoea. JODAMAN, ANGELA SHIRAZ and KOJAZZ were all severely checked when tightening occurred on the first corner and they lost all chance, filling the last three places. RUSTY COCONUT. Trainer B.Cole. Rule 259. Suffering from diarrhoea and stood down for 10 days to and including 18.07.04.
