Race 1 CATERING PROFESSIONALS DASH - C1 - 318 Due to an electrical problem with the lure, this race did not start until 4.38pm, with following race start times being moved forward to that of the next race. Longest Drive was quickly to the front, midtrack, and then when rounding bend moved closer to the rail and came into contact with Over Step - Longest Drive bounced away after the contact and from there dropped to the back of the field and did not improve further. No 7 Eiffel Ami (G Calverley). Rule 329 - hock injury. Dog euthanised.
Race 2 TINT-A-CAR DASH - C1 - 318 Miss Tibet raced prominently in the early stages but was then checked and blocked for room by May Well Be when that dog and Farmer Benson came together in front of her. No 5 Opening Time (K Braithwaite). Rule 259 - hip support tear. Stand down 10 days to 29.06.04. VC held.
Race 3 STREETS ICE CREAM STAKES - C1 - 527 Just Hasty was checked from behind by Bannister Lad crossing towards the rail after the jump - Just Hasty remained towards rear of field, checking both Bannister Lad and Unlawful Lass at a later stage when moving out wider on the track.
Race 4 MEADOWSET GRAPHICS STAKES - C1/2 - 527 Race clear. No 6 Graeshar's Boy (G Calverley). Under current stand down.
Race 5 JIMBO'S PETFOOD DASH - C2 - 318 Sambuca Pete was slow to start and was always near the back of the field. Little Toot blitzed away early and held decisively. No 6 Storm Edition (B & L Craik). Under current stand down. .
Race 6 ROYAL WOLF CONTAINERS STAKES - C2 - 527 Coruba Storm was swiftly to the front and held with ease to the line. The field tightened at the first bend, with Melissa Bale being checked off the rail when the winner Coruba Storm chopped in front of her.
Race 7 COMMERCIAL PLUMBING DASH - C4 - 318 Shar Nazir shied off the rail in the early running and then was later in contact with Stock Broker.
Race 8 WWW.EXPOSURES.CO.NZ - WEBSITE HOSTING DASH - C4/5 - 318 Let Me scrambled on all fours at the jump - recovered the field but with no realistic chance of making the first three. No 4 Rumpole (G Calverley). Under current stand down (amended ) to 24.06.04.
Race 9 RADIO PACIFIC STAKES - C3 - 527 Go Tyler Go, from box 1, moved off the rail entering the bend and pushed Trendy Rhode wide. Parra Power held an early lead right to the line despite drifting wide in the mid-straight to post section. No 1 Dudley Dersley (GC Farrell). Rule 259 - flexor tendon strain. Stand down 10 days to 30.06.04. VC held.
Race 10 COCA-COLA STAKES FEATURE - C4 - 527 Race clear. No 5 Gold Jed (D Van Meeuwen). Rule 329 - cramped post race. Stand down 5 days to 27.06.04. V C held.
