Judicial report: Weather: Overcast and raining Trainer AH Lee was questioned as to the non supply of a catcher for FIFI THE FLEA in Race 8, The Barron's Supplies Stakes. In explanation she stated that she had arranged for Mr M Hill to catch the dog, however he failed to do so. Taking into account the circumstances, she was warned of her obligations with no monetary penalty imposed.

Race 1	PEDIGREE ADVANCE STAKES - C1 - 520	SMART SPICE and FLY BYE ANGEL were slow to jump from the boxes, settling at the rear. FLY BYE ANGEL ran on for fifth, with SMART SPICE finishing amongst the tail enders.
Race 2	GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND SPRINT - C1 - 295	CONSENT was slow to jump from the boxes settling last and when endeavouring to improve into the home straight, checked out off the hindquarters of MISS NEMINBO. These dogs filled the last two places.
Race 3	DAVID EMERSON CONSULTANCY SPRINT - C0 - 295	SEASPRAY FOLLY and MULBERRY MAN were slow to jump from the boxes, settling at the rear. Into the home straight WHIPWHOP PATCH checked out off the hindquarters of GRACE HAVOC, coming into contact with SEASPRAY FOLLY on his outer. SEASPRAY FOLLY ran on to dead heat for third, with the other dogs finishing amongst the tailenders.
Race 4	HARDING CUP - HEAT 1 - C5q - 295 Heat 1	All clear. RAPID EXPRESS (JV Busch) retired. Rule 257. 30 days up to and including 16 July 2004.
Race 5	KOLORFUL KANVAS STAKES - C0 - 520	Around the first corner MULBERRY EBO, CLAN NOVA and MULBERRY CHELLE came together, losing momentum. The favourite GIVEN TITLE improved inside these dogs, colliding with a recovering CLAN NOVA resulting in GIVEN TITLE checking outwards and coming in contact with MULBERRY EBO. At the end of the back straight MULBERRY EBO and MULBERRY ROGUE came together when racing at the rear, MULBERRY ROGE sustaining a severe check finishing the event some distance behind the field. CLAN NOVA recovered from the earlier incident to run on for third. The second favourite THRILLING VENUS, who was second down the back straight, drifted out over the concluding stages to finish seventh.
Race 6	SHIRLEY VETERINARY CENTRE SPRINT - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH LUMP was slow to jump from the boxes, settling last never improving during the running. The second favourite SAMMY GOSSIP ran wide around the bend before diving down to the rail into the home straight, finishing mid field.
Race 7	HARDING CUP - HEAT 2 - C5q - 295 Heat 1	KNOCKABOUT FRED and HONEST BIRD were slow to jump, settling at the rear. Into the first corner ULTRAVOX sustained a check, coming back on KNOCKABOUT FRED. These two dogs lost all chance, finishing at the rear of the field.
Race 8	BARRON'S SUPPLIES STAKES - C1 - 520	ZINGER'S REVENGE was slow to jump settling at the rear, however ran on well over the concluding stages for third. Into the first corner MOANA NUI was checked between dogs, settling at the rear and never improving during the event. The second favourite MARISSA BALE raced in second place until turning for home, compounding over the concluding stages to finish seventh.
Race 9	HARDING CUP - HEAT 3 - C5q - 295 Heat 1	HOMEBUSH MICK was slow to jump from the boxes, settling last, never improving during the event. SHEEZA FREE (MM Grant) diarrhoea. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 5 days up to and including 20 June 2004.
Race 10	LAMB & HAYWARD STAKES - C1 - 520	SOFA LOAFER was slow to jump, settling last. Into the first corner the favourite ROSZEL BALE was checked as TOP BRASS crossed down to the rail in front of her. She finished strongly in the home straight for second, with TOP BRASS drifting out to finish last. CYBIL DEFENCE (AH Lee) right hind pencil muscle pain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 5 days up to and including 21 June 2004.
