Race 1	WELCOME SPRINT - C0 - 305	SWIFT BREEZE was very slow away and lost all chance of a placing. JUSTA SILVERSTAR moved out on the first corner and pushed SABRE SERENE off line. SABRE SERENE lost several lengths and was last home.
Race 2	SPICER'S PAPER STAKES - C0 - 520	THRILLING BELLE and FRANNY HALL were slow to begin but recovered well to finish in first and third placings.
Race 3	HOUSE OF TRAVEL DASH - C0 - 305	CLASSY CULLEN was very slow to begin and lost several lengths. FLYING SABRE was severely checked on the first corner as runners drawn out wide moved across. She went back to last and stayed there.
Race 4	ASR SPRAYPAINTING STAKES - C0 - 520	UNO BILLY JOE ran out on the first turn, lost several lengths and tailed the field home. WAITOTARA DEVIL drew box seven and raced wide throughout, covering extra ground.
Race 5	DISPLAY ASSOCIATES SPRINT - C0 - 305	MERRY SABRE and SUZY D'OR were slow to begin and raced at the rear throughout.
Race 6	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS '520' - C1 - 520	General tightening on the first turn resulted in UPAHUT LOONY being severely checked, losing several lengths and any chance of a placing.
Race 7	METEOR PRINTERS MAIDEN SPRINT - C0 - 305	PITTER PATTER and MAC DA YAP collided and jostled together for a few strides soon after the start. MAC DA YAP settled at the rear and tailed the field throughout.
Race 8	ANDERSON'S FOR MEN '520' - C1 - 520	BEDAZZLED JEWEL, HOSTILE BLUES, OUR MICK and DR CHIVARGO came together and jostled for a few strides on the first corner but recovered quickly without losing much ground. GOTTA BOLD BOY appeared to falter starting on the last bend and dropped out to finish a long last. The Vets inspection failed to reveal any injuries at that time.
Race 9	RUSH HIRE DASH - C1 - 305	All clear.
Race 10	DA MORRISON'S ELECTRIC CITY SPRINT - C1 - 305	OUR POLAR was checked on the first corner and went from a handy position, back to near the rear and stayed well back.
Race 11	WANGANUI SECURITY SERVICES '520' - C1 - 520	One of the best supported runners TARTAN FLYER was wide throughout from the eight box and finished well back.
Race 12	DOUBLE S MOTORDROME FEATURE STAKES - R/A - 520	SHONI'S LIGHT was scratched due to an injury. OFFERS PLEASE moved in from the start and caused a chain reaction of bumping to WHATA FEVER, FANTASY SHIFTER, RUSTY COCONUT and MISS CHANTELLE. SHONI'S LIGHT. Trainer W.T.Hodgson Rule 259 Has a leg injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 03.06.04.
Race 13	ELITE CATERING SPRINT - C1 - 305	STATELY CHARM was scratched due to suffering from acidosis. Trainer S.Gommans was fined $ 20-00 under Rule 135 (1) for failing to adhere to the dress code when handling her dog GAZZA'S DELIGHT. STATELY CHARM. Trainer D.Garrett. Rule 259. Suffering from acidosis and stood down for 30 days to and including 22.06.04.
Race 14	EXCEED DISTANCE FEATURE - C1d - 755	MONTOYA FOG was checked early in the race, went back to last and stayed there throughout.
Race 15	HEADS ROAD VETERINARY STAKES - C1 - 520	DUSTY NERO was scratched Ex Wellington on 21.05.04. UPAHUT AXION dropped out in the back straight and finished several lengths last. The dog did not appear to be striding out correctly and a Vets inspection was ordered but no injuries were detected at that time. DUSTY NERO. Trainer L.Fornasiere. Ex Wellington on 21.05.04.
Race 16	VITAPOWER '305' - C1 - 305	BRAVE GYPSY was a late scratching when found to be lame at kenneling time. KAL'S GOLD was handy early in the race but drifted on the bend, was galloped on by WOTAN and faded out to finish last. A Vets inspection was ordered but cleared the dog of any injuries. BRAVE GYPSY. Trainer S.Gardner. Rule 259. Late scratching due to lameness and stood down for 10 days to and including 03.06.04.
Race 17	KOWHAI DASH - C2 - 305	HOODY'S HOWLER was handy early but was checked on the bend and dropped out quickly to finish in last place. HOODY'S HOWLER suffered a fractured hock and was stood down for 30 days. HOODY'S HOWLER. Trainer A.Cobain. Rule 329. Suffered a fractured hock when checked during the race. Stood down for 30 days to and including 23.06.04.
Race 18	RIMU STAKES - C2 - 520	TRUANT and KIWI MANA collided on the first corner and both almost fell. They lost all chance and finished well behind the other runners. GOZO LINA. Trainer G & S Hayden-Holmes. Rule 329. Suffered from a skinned pad and stood down for 7 days to and including 31.05.04.
Race 19	TOTARA DASH - C2 - 305	ANTONIO may have made contact with the rail on the first corner and lost about three lengths. This could not be confirmed on the video.
Race 20	FAREWELL SPRINT - C3 - 305	EDGAR JAY, PARRA POWER, HURRICANE FOG and STYLISH SUSIE were all checked on the first corner when DEBRA BALE came off the rail and crowded them. They never recovered and filled the last four places at the finish.
