Incident Reports

Race Number Race Name Incident Report
Race 1 AWESOME HAVOC AT STUD SPRINT - C0 - 390 India (4) was slow to start, took the lead in the run down the straight, and held on to win by a half-length from Cybil Defence (6) which led at the top of the straight after being pushed out on the turn and struck from behind. Homebush Snippet (1) ran on late for 3rd after being last early. On the turn Castaway Havoc (2) was in front, but turned its head on Kay Nine Rocket (3) taking several bites at the dog, and the incident impeded the running of the rest of the field. A charge of fighting under Rule 322 (1) (a) was preferred against Castaway Havoc after the race and the dog received a 30-day suspension. The video was checked after the race as the incident involving Castaway Havoc checked the field and caused the lure to lengthen, but the Judicial Steward agreed that the distance was not sufficient to have affected the outcome of the race.
Race 2 SGRC SUPPLIES SPRINT - C0 - 390 Homebush Legend (1) led out but quickly retreated in the straight to finish 6th. Red King (8) swooped round the field to lead into the home straight and bolted in by 4 and a quarter lengths from Grace Havoc (2) which was close up challenging most of the trip. El Assassin (5) was second out, led on the turn, but only battled for 4th.
