Race 1	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C3 - 520	FINE PROFIT moved across from box 7 soon after the start and tightened several runners with BANKSIDE DREAM, TOKEN WARRIOR and IRINKA BETTY being jostled about for several strides.
Race 2	ANGLO UPHOLSTERERS DASH - C1 - 305	TIMTAGEL STAR was late scratched and will stand down for 30 days due to being in season. KNIGHT TROOPER moved out on the first turn and checked LAST TRAM and PRINCESS ARAPHO who lost several lengths. TIMTAGEL STAR. Trainer S.Drysdale. Rule 258 (3). In season and stood down for 30 days to and including 29.04.04.
Race 3	MAIDEN STAKES FINAL - C0 - 520	LORD PLACARD was galloped on by RAFFERTY REASON on the first corner and they both lost several lengths. RAFFERTY REASON was again checked on the final bend and finished well back. WAITOTARA DEVIL was checked on the first bend when THRILLING MAY moved across to the rail.
Race 4	SPICERS PAPER DASH - C4/5 - 305	DIPPENAAR and WEE SILVER STAR collided on the home turn and lost momentum for a few strides..
Race 5	ACCSYS FOR QUICK BOOKS - C1 - 520	ROCKING QUEEN ran onto the heels of SANTOFT TIGER on the first turn, moved out and pushed TUDOR QUEEN and SMART TIP very wide on the first bend.
Race 6	IMPROVERS STAKES FINAL - C1 - 520	DR CHIVARGO moved in racing to the first bend and tightened SHEZA ZINGER, TOKEN CHARM and THRILLING ZACK who all lost ground. THRILLING ZACK and TOKEN CHARM recovered to finish 2nd and 3rd. The race was won in track record time by YALLAH EBONY.
Race 7	COPY EXPRESS - PETONE - C2 - 305	DEBRA BALE was a late scratching when found to be suffering from muscle spasms at kennelling time. MY JOURNEY ran on the heels of ELLE'S ROCKET on the first turn, moved out and pushed CHALKE'S HONCHO wide on the bend. DEBRA BALE. Trainer D.Garrett. Rule 259. Suffering from Muscle spasms in the back and late scratched and stood down for 7 days up to and including 06.04.04.
Race 8	WELLINGTON OAKS R/A FINAL - R/A - 520	LADY LEAH was scratched due to suffering from wrist pain. The favourite SLENDER MAREE was tightened and dropped back in the race to the first corner. MINNIE'S LADY moved out on the first turn, bumped WHATA FEVER and pushed her wide. ASTRO DOLL was checked by WINSOME MOLLY on the second corner and dropped back onto SLENDER MAREE. LADY LEAH. Trainer D.Garrett. Rule 259. Suffering from soreness in the wrists and stood down for 14 days up to and including 12.04.04.
Race 9	EMPIRE HOTEL - PETONE - C2 - 520	CALM DOMINO was a late scratching when found to be overweight and the Trainer was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 269 (3). TIGER EYES moved out and collided with RAGTIME REASON on the first corner. RASMAH REASON and KRISSY STARDUST had to ease to avoid those runners as they faltered for a couple of strides. PAWS A MOMENT was checked and lost ground entering the last bend. CALM DOMINO. Trainer P.Clark. Rule 269 (3) Overweight and late scratched.
Race 10	UPPER HUTT COSSIE CLUB - C2 - 520	The favourite MILKY LABRI began awkwardly and was then bumped by ENROLLMENT and settled in last place. She made up some ground without getting near the placegetters.
