Judicial report: Weather: Fine Mr M.O'Brien, the handler of five dogs for A.H.Lee and M.& J.Jopson, contacted the club after his vehicle broke down at Milton. A club official drove up and transported the dogs to the track and they were permitted to kennel some 35 minutes before the first race. No further action was deemed necessary.

Race 1 AWESOME HAVOC AT STUD - C1/2 - 390 The favourite Homebush Mick (1) took the lead in the run to the turn and led down the straight. Homebush Mick finished 3rd when Petite Jewel (4), which was second on the bend after a slow start, ran on strongly to get up and win by a half-head from Palaquin Miss (8) which also challenged strongly and led briefly short of the line. Homebush Shadow (J.T.McInerney), Rule 259 right fore spike wound. 10 days up to and including 28/3/2004. Vet certificate supplied.
Race 2 $20 MUZZLE STAKES - C1 - 390 Gunnadoo Lass (P.& B.Conner) had left leg strapped under Rule 243 for this meeting only. Favourite Gunnadoo Lass (7) was third into the turn, but made ground strongly down the straight and pulled away to win by 3 and a quarter lengths from the early leader Homebush Jason (5). Homebush Frank (8) finished 3rd after challenging for the lead early, and there was a 4 and a quarter length gap back to the rest of the field.
Race 3 SGRC GREYHOUND SUPPLIES - C1 - 457 With Much Ado (A.O.Watt), reweigh at 29.6kg, last raced on 22/2/2004 at 31.4kg. Homebush Fin (7) was close up early, took the lead at the top of the straight and went away to win from Lazy Harry (2) which challenged for the lead most of the trip. Homebush Sally (3) led into the turn and fought on well for a close 3rd. Effervescence (4) led ouf ot the traps, but shortened stride into the turn and finished a distant last. A vet check after the race showed an injury to the right front triceps and the dog was stood down for 7 days. Fifi The Flea (A.H.Lee), Rule 259 right rear middle toe dislocated. 7 days up to and including 27/3/2004. Dog presented and vet certificate supplied. Effervescence (W.M.Tijsen), Rule 329 right fore triceps injury. 7 days up to and including 27/3/2004.
Race 4 WWW.DOGTIPS.NET.NZ - C1/2 - 457 Favourite Potential Rogue (5) led all the way to win comfortably from Whata tex (2) which held on for second by a nose from Hugh Dagg (1) which was finishing on strongly at the end.
Race 5 BOND CONTRACTS - C2/3 - 390 Favourite High Fever (1) took the lead shortly after the jump and held on to win by three-quarters of a length from the fast finishing Wag (5) which was second last on the turn. Homebush Kaycee (3) was 3rd after leading out of the traps.
