| Race 1 | BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C1/2h - 505 | CHIPPEWA BRAVE was scratched due to an injury. The scratching was made by fax and not picked up until after scratching time due to a fault with the fax machine. As a result, the first reserve missed out on a start. KOTUKU ARANUI began very awkwardly, lost several lengths and all chance. GOLD ORDER fell at the first hurdle in the back straight and suffered injuries which resulted in a 10 day stand down. OFF THE BENCH and CHEROKEE SQUAW came together and jostled for several strides soon after the start. During the race, OFF THE BENCH received injuries which resulted in a 21 day stand down and CHEROKEE SQUAW received injuries which resulted in a 14 day stand down. CHIPPEWA BRAVE. Trainer B.Melville.
