Track: Good Firm
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Weather: Fine An enquiry was opened as to the actions after the start of race 2 by the greyhound Miss Tracey Lee. The trainer, P W Cleaver, was advised that the greyhound had, mid-straight, turned and veered out towards an outer dog - no contact was made with the outer dog.
Further into the race, at the first bend, Miss Tracey Lee was buffeted about and put out of contention. A post race examination by the veterinary surgeon revealed that the greyhound had sustained hip and hock soreness which was the probable cause of the dog's action after the start. The trainer was advised that no action was warranted and the matter closed, although the greyhound did become subject of a stand down for the injury.
