Judicial report: Weather: Fine MISS TRACEY LEE was a late scratching from Race 5 after the Judicial Committee ruled that the dog was ineligible. The dog had been entered and then scratched at the Clubs Non Tote meeting on 04.11.03 but the Trainer had not produced within 48 hours, a veterinary certificate or declaration stating the nature of MISS TRACEY LEE'S injury or illness and therefore the dog is stood down for 30 days to and including 02.12.03.

CHINA SAM ran in from the start and crowded SMOKIE and OUR PATCH in the approach to the first hurdle. BOBBYMITE fell at the last hurdle when appearing certain of running second. Race 2 TOP NOSH MAIDEN SPRINT - HEAT 1 - C0q - 318 Heat 1 BONNIE TOKEN was scratched due to suffering from water diabetes and will spell for 10 days. EDUCATING ARCHIE moved across from the eight box soon after the start and crowded several runners on its inside with MAY DAY MAID being the worst affected dog. CRYPTIC clipped the heels of EDUCATING ARCHIE on the first corner and fell but was not injured. BONNIE TOKEN. Trainer F.Farmer. Rule 259 Suffering from water diabetes. Race 3 TOP NOSH MAIDEN SPRINT - HEAT 2 - C0q - 318 Heat 1 PATIENCE was slow to begin and settled in last place. NEVER HOME and ARDISHAH collided on the first corner and dropped back several lengths. PATIENCE was also checked in the incident and ran wide.
Race 4 CAROL'S TAB C1 STAKES - HEAT 1 - C1q - 527 Heat 1 KIWI MANA was scratched due to a toe injury and will stand down for 20 days. General tightening on the first turn resulted in NATURE OF MONKEY, BAZIL'S TOKEN and LUMINOSO being checked and pushed wide on the bend. KIWI MANA. Trainer C.Derecourt. Rule 259 Suffering from a toe injury. Stood down for 20 days to 06.12.03.
Race 5 TOP NOSH MAIDEN SPRINT - HEAT 3 - C0q - 318 Heat 1 MISS TRACEY LEE was a late scratching due to being ineligible. ( Refer to Judicial Section ) SUPREME JESTER moved in on the first corner and checked the favourite REAL SILENCE as he moved forward. SUPREME JESTER then ran out wide on the home turn and pushed REAL SILENCE and NITE HAWK LADY wide on the track and over extra ground. TIKI TOUR and POWDERPUFF GIRL came together and made firm contact on the first corner when racing at the rear. MISS TRACEY LEE. Trainer P.Cleaver. Late scratching. Rule 259 (3) Failed to produce a declaration of injury at Non Totalisator meeting on 04.11.03. when scratched. Stood down for 30 days to 02.12.03.
Race 6 CAROL'S TAB C1 STAKES - HEAT 2 - C1q - 527 Heat 1 ESCALANTE DESERT was scratched due to a toe injury and will stand down for 8 days. HOSTILE DEED ran out soon after the start and crowded WANDERING EYES, KIWI FIRE and CAWBOURNE SMILE for a few strides. ESCALANTA DESERT. Trainer R.O'Regan. Rule 259 Suffering from a toe injury. Race 7 CAROL'S TAB C1 STAKES - HEAT 3 - C1q - 527 Heat 1 GOLDEN LOBO suffered a deep cut to the right hind pad during the race and will spell for 10 days. GOLDEN LOBO. Trainer K.Lomas. Rule 329 Received a cut to right hind pad. 10 day stand down to 27.11.03.
Race 8 CATERING PROFESSIONALS DASH - C1 - 318 MAVRIKI ENYA was scratched due to soreness in the right hind leg and will spell for 10 days. STORM EDITION and FAITHFUL BART were slow to begin and settled well back. MAVRIKI ENYA. Trainer W.Steele. Rule 259 Suffering from sore hind leg. Stood down for 10 days to 26.11.03.
Race 9 MEADOWSET GRAPHICS STAKES - C0 - 527 CERAMIC was scratched due to soreness in a hock and will stand down for 7 days. SUPREME BET and JESSICA'S GAMBLE collided soon after the start with JESSICA'S GAMBLE dropping back quickly to the rear. SUPREME BET began to drop back soon after and finished several lengths last. She was examined by the vet and stood down for 14 days with a tricep injury. CERAMIC. Trainer S.Ross Rule 259 Suffering from an injured hock. Presented and stood down for 7 days to 21.11.03. Race 10 VALLEY POOL DASH - C2 - 318 MARSHALL BALE ran in at the start after drawing box 8 and crowded HOT DISCOVERY and RANDOM for several strides until they eventually dropped back to the rear. They never recovered and finished well back.

Race 12 STREETS ICE-CREAM STAKES - C2 - 527 MELISSA BALE was scratched due to being incorrectly graded at the Association Office. EASTER MAN was slow to begin and settled at the rear. He was found to have a main pad injury after the race and was stood down for 5 days. MELISSA BALE. Trainer G.Pomeroy. Incorrectly graded at N.Z.G.R.A. EASTER MAN. Trainer K.Lomas. Rule 329. Injury to main pad on right hind foot. 5 day stand down to 22.11.03.
Race 13 BELLBIRD TAVERN DASH - C2 - 318 HIT THE TURBO and MY JOURNEY collided on the home turn when racing at the rear.
Race 14 THE MAD BUTCHER STAKES - C2 - 527 SPRICKLEZ was jostled and checked a couple of times on the first bend and dropped back to the rear and finished well back.
Race 15 RADIO PACIFIC STAKES - C3 - 527 ORANA CITY ran out on the first corner and forced SUMMER BUZZ wide on the bend. MISS VEGI WEB was checked at the end of the back straight and dropped out to tail the field home by several lengths
Race 16 OASIS BAR & GRILL DASH - C3/4 - 318 RUMPOLE was scratched due to an injury and will spell for 10 days. One of the favourites WEE SILVER STAR was slow away but made up some ground for fourth place. GEECHIE LOBO moved in racing to the first corner and checked PURE HONCHO who dropped out to last.
