| Race 2 | ROTOKAWA '520' - C1 - 520 | JENNY D'OR ran in at the start and caused checks to SMART TIP, HILLVIEW RIDGE, RAVEN HAWK and SAUCY ANNA. HILLVIEW RIDGE and RAVEN HAWK settled well back and then bumped together as they made the first turn. They dropped off to be several lengths behind the others and stayed back. |

Tightening on the first turn resulted in checks to BITTER SAMMY, SHE SHEPHERD and SANTOFT TIGER with the last two mentioned runners dropping back several lengths. BIBIANA BALE moved in on the first corner and checked the favourite CHANTILLY BALE who then ran out and bumped CUTIE'S DIAMOND. CHANTILLY BALE recovered to swoop around the field to win well. | Race 8 | ELITE CATERING SPRINT - C2 - 305 | BLACK PANDORA moved across from box 7 soon after the start and crowded and checked all runners on its inside except the eventual winner GILBERT BALE who was just ahead. GILBERT BALE and HURRICANE FOG came together on the first corner with GILBERT BALE getting off balance and losing ground. He recovered well to win narrowly. |
| Race 9 | WANGANUI SECURITY SERVICES STAKES - C2/3 - 520 | KRISSY STARDUST ran out from the start and jostled WHIPPER SNAPPER, TYRONE'S STAR, LADY SHACKLES and BUSTING OUT for a few strides with LADY SHACKLES being the worst affected runner. On the first turn, WHIPPER SNAPPER was checked, ran out and forced LADY SHACKLES wide on the bend and she never recovered and finished in last place. |
| Race 10 | ANDERSON'S FOR MEN '305' - C4/5 - 305 | ULTRA AWESOME was scratched and is now deceased. The hot favourite GOLD AMORE was a little slow to begin and then did not receive the best of runs in the early and middle stages. Once in the clear, GOLD AMORE finished well for third.
