WINSOME SHINE was checked on the first corner when JEMALONG EASTERN moved across to the rail. The favourite CLISTON BONNIE was last into the first corner where she was pushed out wide. She was still last on the final bend but flew home for third place. Soon after, OH SO BLUE was galloped on by HOMEBUSH BRIAN and was dragged down. OH SO BLUE suffered injuries which resulted in her being humanely put down. | Race 7 | IMPROVERS STAKES - HEAT 3 - C1q - 525 Heat 1 | LION RED CAPP was a club scratching without penalty after being incorrectly placed in the wrong field. OZZY SPENCER broke down in a rear hock as the field entered the back straight. He pulled up quickly and was humanely put down as a result of his injury. OZZY SPENCER was racing free of interferance at the time of the injury. In the run down the back straight, LADY LEAH who was sharing the lead with JAYDEN'S DESIRE, moved in and bumped that dog and JAYDEN'S DESIRE fell heavily and made contact with the rail.
