| Race 2 | SPICERS PAPER DASH - C1 - 295 | One of the favourites GAZZA'S DELIGHT was slow away and settled at the rear. In the race to the first corner, SUPER HOLKA and GAZZA'S DELIGHT collided and lost ground. They never recovered and filled the last two places. |
| Race 3 | BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C1 - 525 | TURBO JAZZ was scratched due to a sprained ligament. HOLLY PHOENIX was scratched due to a strained thigh muscle, was presented and stood down for 3 days. MISS CHANTELLE was tightened and fell on the first corner and UPAHUT AXION was brought down in the incident. MISS CHANTELLE was cleared of any injury but UPAHUT AXION was stood down for 3 days with soreness in the right hind leg. | Race 4 | TXT4TIPS (M10 R? 8477) DASH - C4 - 295 | HOMEBUSH STEVE was slow to begin and failed to make much impression, finishing in last place. YALLAH ROSE and YEAP were checked on the bend, went back to the rear and lost any chance of a placing. |
| Race 5 | HARDY TRADE SUPPLY - C1 - 525 | UPAHUT LOONY and WINSOME SHINE were tightened soon after the start and settled at the rear. SPORTY MATE moved out on the first corner and pushed ABBEYMITE out into the line of SOBERANO who fell but was not injured. |
| Race 6 | FOTODOG FOTO'S - WGTH DASH - C2 - 295 | JUDGEREINGOLD was scratched due to soreness in the chest muscles. INSIST jumped first and led in the run to the first corner but was bumped hard by the eventual winner BLUE COUNTY and lost momentum. She dropped out to finish well back and was examined by the vet and will spell for 7 days due to some soreness in the right shoulder. JUDGEREINGOLD. Trainer B.Hood. Rule 259. The first two home, MY TOOT TOOT and WINSOME VEIN were the slowest away and they then jostled with the 3rd placed dog JUST GEE on the first corner. | Race 8 | ACCSYS FOR QUICKBOOKS - C3 - 525 | One of the favourites WINSOME RAIDER was one of the slowest away and was last into the first bend. He then ran very wide on the bend and lost further ground and any chance of a placing. |
| Race 9 | EMPIRE HOTEL - PETONE DASH - C5 - 295 | ALLEGRO BEAM moved across towards the rail on the first corner and this resulted in tightening to DIPPENAAR and OLD MONARO who dropped back a couple of places. OLD MONARO recovered to finish 4th while DIPPENAAR finished in 2nd last place. SOMEONE'S MAGIC jumped well but was bumped a couple of times early in the race, lost momentum and dropped out to finish in last place. |
| Race 10 | MAINLAND STAKES - C2 - 525 | RAGTIME REASON was scratched due to suffering from gastroenteritis. UPAHUT ROSE was checked entering the back straight, dropped back onto DR CHIVARGO and they both lost ground. DR CHIVARGO ran into the rail of its own accord soon after the finish line and fell heavily. He suffered from lacerations and puncture wounds and was stood down for 21 days. RAGTIME REASON. Trainer J.Hill Rule 259 Suffering from gastroenteritis. 10 day stand down to 23.10.03. DR CHIVARGO. Trainer S.Gommans. Ran into rail and suffered lacerations and puncture wounds. 21 day stand down to 04.11.03. |
