MISS KERBY clipped the heels of ELLE'S ROCKET on the first turn and dropped back onto LAST TRAM and they were never a chance after that. |

ENROLLMENT, who was also well supported, was crowded on the first corner and dropped back several places. He recovered well to finish in fifth place. |
| Race 9 | ELITE CATERING STAKES - C1 - 520 | SYLVANIA STAR ran in on the first corner and checked SHEZA ZINGER and PIC A PAC. All three dogs lost several lengths and tailed the field for the remainder of the race. The favourite COSMOS was crowded and jostled for several strides soon after the start when EMPHATIC JEWEL moved in. |
