Race 1	MAIDEN DASH - C0 - 295	ROCKING QUEEN was scratched due to a swollen foreleg. ANNALLUSION jumped on terms with the other runners but dropped out quickly and finished several lengths last. The vets inspection failed to reveal any abnormalities. ROCKING QUEEN. Trainer J.Hill. Rule 259. Swollen foreleg. 10 day stand down to 24.09.03
Race 2	FOTODOG FOTO'S - WGTN DASH - C1 - 295	SATARA was checked on the first turn, went back to last and then ran wide on the bend and finished well back.
Race 3	MAIDEN STAKES - C0 - 525	TARTAN FLYER, CRUZMORE, PHAEDRA and BOLD RAY came together and jostled for several strides soon after the start and as a result they lost a little ground.
Race 4	TXT4TIPS (M9 R? 8477) - C1 - 295	The hot favourite JOHNNY TULLOCH jumped with the others but only ran around the bend fairly at its first start on the track and dropped back several places. Once into the straight, JOHNNY TULLOCH did make up some ground.
Race 5	CLASSIC ROOFING DASH - C2 - 295	The favourite LOWER THE BOOM missed the start but quickly made up ground to be handy on the first turn. She was then galloped on by VEGIE BILL and dropped back, losing any chance of a placing. VEGIE BILL also lost any chance of a placing in the incident.
Race 6	SPICERS PAPER STAKES - C1 - 525	PROSPERINE was scratched due to a nail injury to a hind foot. The favourite STORM EDITION led for most of the race but tired and faded out in the straight to finish well back. M.McDonnell was fined $ 20-00 for failing to catch a dog as arranged. PROSPERINE. Trainer O.Marron. Rule 259. Toe nail injury to left hind. 10 day stand down to 25.09.03
Race 7	HARDY TRADE SUPPLY - C1 - 525	The well supported runners SHAVE THE SHEEP, GAZZA'S BEAUTY and THRILLING HEIDI were all checked when tightening occurred in the race to the first corner and they settled well back.
Race 8	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTO'S - C2 - 525	The favourite TIGHNABRUICH was slow away but quickly went forward to be handy on the first turn where, along with SHEZA ZINGER and RAPID CROSS, he a check. He recovered well to make up ground for second.
Race 9	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C3/4 - 295	MILLENIUM MAGIC was scratched due to injury and will stand down for thirty days. The dog will probably be retired. WAIWERATAI was slow away but made up ground by the first corner where he collided with KNOCKABOUT NELLY. They both lost momentum, ran wide on the bend and finished well back. MILLENIUM MAGIC. Trainer J.Manihera. Rule 259 Suffering from a leg injury. 30 day stand down to 14.10.03.
Race 10	EMPIRE HOTEL - PETONE - C3 - 525	WINSOME RAIDER ran out sharply on the first bend and collided with WON'T BE DENIED. WINSOME RAIDER lost several lenghts in the incident and finished well back.
