Judicial report: Weather: Cold and overcast. A charge under Rule: 135 (1) was preferred against handler G White. He elected to plead guilty to the charge and was fined $30.00 by the Judicial Officer.

Race 1 | BALDEAGLE SYNDICATE'S STAKES - C1 - 520 | MAID OF QUEEN was slow to jump from the boxes, settling last, and when endeavouring to improve came in contact with SEASPRAY ROCK both dogs jostling for a number of strides, losing momentum. They finished amongst the tail enders. Into the first corner BALLYRUE ZING checked out off ROSE CEE CEE's hind quarters, forcing COMMANDO JEWEL and FIFI THE FLEA wide on the track. All three dogs ran on well to fill the first three placings. |

Race 4 | SHIRLEY VETERINARY CENTRE STAKES - C3 - 520 | TUKI AQUA was slow to jump from the outside box, settling last before catching the body of the field into the first corner. He ran on strongly over the concluding stages for fifth. JAY GEE'S BOY (JV Busch) lame right fore leg. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Race 5 | PAT CAGNEY SPRINT - C3 - 295 | Into the first corner BACK HERE MACKA and HOMEBUSH STEVE came together when vying for the lead, moving out towards the centre of the track, forcing FLIGHTY and HARE SAY to take evasive action. Into the home straight an improving MOSIG struck the hindquarters of the favourite CYPRESS LAKES who was forced outwards onto an improving FLIGHTY. As a result of these incidents GOODTIME LAD ran clear to win easily. FLIGHTLY finished down the outer for fourth, with the other dogs involved in these incidents finishing near the rear of the field. Race 7 | O.T.B RAPID VITE NEW ZEALAND STAKES - C0 - 520 | POLAR KEV, HOMEBUSH FLUR and BLUE FERN ran wide around the first corner, losing ground never improving during the running, finishing amongst the tail enders. |
Race 8 | CONTAINERS DIRECT INTERTRADE STAKES - C4 - 520 | WAR TOKEN drifted to last after jumping from the boxes, getting well out of his ground down the back straight, before catching the body of the field in the run in. |
Race 9 | SCHULTZ PANEL & PAINT STAKES - C5 - 520 | Into the first corner WHITE TOKEN eased as a result of being tightened between TOMMO'S TWO and HEAD MOVER, drifting back to last eventually finishing seventh. Race 10 | CANTERBURY G.O.T.B ASSN SPRINT - C5 - 295 | SPOTTED HAND ran wide around the bend and into the home straight, finishing well for fifth in his first start on the track. Into the home straight CECILIA TONY was checked as AWESOME PAUL moved down on the inside of the leader LIGHTENING PETE. CECILIA TONY finished sixth. |
