Race 1	THOROUGHBRED TAVERN DASH - C0 - 318	Lucky Lipinski was away swiftly from the outside draw, pushing Miss Tracey Lee across to impede Bold Hove on the rail, before stepping clear of the field and holding strongly to the line.
Race 2	MEADOWSET GRAPHICS DASH - C1/2 - 318	Hot Discovery moved forward from midfield exiting the bend to move to the rail and take and hold lead to the line. Winsome Dough pushed out after the jump, shunting Overstep wide - Overstep stayed wide and after dropping back finished a distant last. A veterinary examination post race found Overstep to have been injured during the running. No 7 Over Step (Reed/Thompson). Rule 329. Soreness right shoulder. Stand down 5 days to 18.08.03. VC held.
Race 3	PUKEKOHE HOTEL STAKES - C0 - 527	Seven starters.Bones Hillman moved across after the jump from the 7 box and impacted with Ollymacron, drawn 3. Ollymacron then came into shoulder contact with Shiraz Royale, causing that dog to scramble somewhat before forging forward to the rail in front of Claire Eyes. Gaining momentum down the back straight Shiraz Royale gathered in the pace maker, Ardishah, and from there ran away from the field, holding a margin of 6 lengths at the line.
Race 4	EGH INTERNET GREYHOUNDS DASH - C2/3 - 318	Kedo's Ned and Stop The Broker, from the two outside boxes, stayed wide after the jump then in unison moved quickly across to the other dogs, then bunching on their inner. On reaching the tightening field Kedo's Ned was in almost immediate contact with Let Me, as that dog jumped outwards across the back of Lady Dolly - Kedo's Ned and Stop The Broker then scrambled and jostled together before Stop The Broker fell under Kedo's Ned bringing Kedo's Ned down as well - both tumbling heavily along the track. An injury to Stop The Broker was of such a severity that he was euthanised post race. Kedo's Ned was bruised but not to such a degree that a stand down was necessary. A post race veterinary examination revealed that Winding Rivers had also been injured during the running, the injury so career threatening that he was also euthanised. No 1 Winding Rivers (NP Green). Fractured hind toe. Dog euthanised. No 8 Stop The Broker (B & L Craik). Broken radius ulna. Dog euthanised.
Race 5	OASIS BAR & GRILL DASH - C1 - 318	Seven starters.Race clear.
Race 6	THE MAD BUTCHER STAKES - C1 - 527	BigBad Ben broke an even line of despatch when moving across towards the rail, shouldering Wandering Eyes and then as field tightened Splicklez was compromised for a run when squeezed up close to the rail. During this time Galatasaray stepped clear to take the lead, a lead he then held to the line.
Race 7	RITA FROST MEMORIAL DASH - C4 - 318	Approaching the bend Boogie Woogie checked the back legs of Argus Lee, with Argus Lee in turn then checking Pure Honcho, running alongside at that time. Several strides later Argus Lee flared sharply outwards and in so doing again struck and then straddled the back of Pure Honcho.Whilst Pure Honcho clambered free and kept going to the finish, with no real chance, Argus Lee trailed home at a distance, clearly severely injured. A post race veterinary examination led to Argus Lee being euthanised. No 6 Argus Lee (PW Cleaver)/ Broken carpus. Dog euthanised.
Race 8	POSSUM BOURNE MEMORIAL STAKES - C4/5 - 527	Bullman Bale was checked and blocked for racing room in the early stages, then moved out and was in contact with Pilli Appeal. Bullman Bale dropped to the back and did not feature further. Some Joe took control racing down the back straight, after being jostled during the first bend and settling on inner, put an extended break on the well performed field into the final bend and then surged down the straight for a strong win in race record time. Griswold, also subject to a check in the early running, finished on late for second.
Race 9	RADIO PACIFIC SIX PACK STAKES - C2/3 - 527	Melina Bale and Ewan Jake drew away from the field and when Melina Bale held at the line there was a margin of 6 lengths to the third dog.
