Race 1	MEADOWSET GRAPHICS DASH - C0 - 318	The was a general tightening and some jostling as the field left the boxes and progressed to the first bend where Sand Dancer drew away and held easily in the run to the line. Lowen Behold was slow to start and when he regained the field was in contact with Finn - neither dog featured any further from there.
Race 2	CATERING PROFESSIONALS DASH - C1 - 318	No Invitation and Bally Angel raced wide from the outside boxes, with some slight contact between them until Bally Angel eased No Invitation even wider until both altered their line and ran across to the back of the field on their inner - No Invitation almost immediately checking sharply off the back of Puni Fire and falling heavily to the track. No Invitation regained his footing and finished the race. Puni Fire and Bally Angel were in contact after the fall and neither had any role in the finish.
Race 3	THOROUGHBRED TAVERN STAKES - C0 - 527	Just Hasty and Shiraz Royale were in contact after the jump, then as Just Hasty moved in front of her, Shiraz Royale was jostled and blocked by Just Hasty and Rum Magoo - being pushed onto Bones Hillman before being able to settle and pick up momentum, a momentum which took her to the rail and on to a creditable third. The race was won well by Flash Shooter on his second run at the track.
Race 4	ALAN TAYLOR BUILDERS DASH - C1 - 318	Turbo Melody pulled up in the early stages and was found to be injured in a post race veterinary examination. Night Eclipse conceded several lengths when dwelling at the start. Waitak Attack was away swiftly and held lead until the second reserve, Tracey's Gem, moved along the rail and held strongly to the line.The first reserve, Winsome Eels, ranged wide from midfield entering the straight and with a strong run down the outer was placed third at the line. No 2 Vegie Bill (B & L Craik). Rule 259 - injury to right wrist. Stand down 10 days to 18.08.03. Dog presented. VC held. No 4 Mr Luke ( MJ Lozell). Under stand down from W & D GRC meeting. No 1 Turbo Melody ( L Bliek). Rule 329 - torn muscle.Stand down 30 days to 10.09.03. VC held.
Race 5	BELLBIRD ARMS #1 STAKES - C1 - 527	There was jostling at the first bend as the field sought to go forward and then Unlawful Lass and Mean Tyler scrambled together when Unlawful Lass had dropped back to the rear after being blocked and squeezed for a run whilst up in a handy position in the early running.
Race 6	CAROL'S TAB TEAM DASH - C1/2 - 318	Faithful Habit dwelt slightly at the start, quickly recovered lost ground, ranged wide through the final bend and stormed down the outer to take a close photo call for the win. No 6 Zabenz (CJ Derecourt). Euthanised at W & D GRC meeting. No 10 Ebony Melody (JE Coxon). Rule 254 (100K).
Race 7	LIFETIME STAINLESS STEEL STAKES - C1 - 527	Race clear.
Race 8	MOOSES CASINO & BAR STAKES - C2 - 527	Seven starters.Just The Don flanked the field after the jump and in the early stages, then down the back straight drove strongly through to gather in the pacemaker Oxey and maintain his dominance from that point to the line. No 5 Philip Bale (GN Pomeroy). Under stand down from W & D GRC meeting.
Race 9	BELLBIRD ARMS #2 DASH - C3 - 318	Race clear. No 5 Marshal Bale ( GN Pomeroy). Rule 259. Stand down 30 days to 09.09.03.
Race 10	RADIO PACIFIC DASH - C4/5 - 318	Neat Shot pushed out after the jump and came into contact with Pure Honcho -both raced wide and at back from there. Gold Amore, drawn between Neat Shot and Pure Honcho was affected when they came together in front of him and dwelt at the back for a period before making ground along the rail and placing third.
