Palmerston North GRC - 13 February 2024

1) Stewards followed up with the recovery of HALKADIKI (race 4) and were advised he had been transported to Massey University Veterinary Hospital where x-rays confirmed a fracture to the right calcaneus with surgery being carried out on Thursday. Following surgery HALKADIKI was transferred to the RTR facility to begin rehabilitation.

Late scratching:

2). THRILLING VOLT (C Morris) - race 8

Injury trial:

1). OPAWA MAGGIE (K Lincoln-Papuni) - for an injury to the left hamstring when completing a training trial prior to the meeting. Must trial prior to resuming.
