Supplementary Report - Christchurch GRC 8 December 2023:

1). X-rays taken from EPIC BLOSSOM have revealed proximal intertarsal luxation with plantar instability with the Greyhound recovering at the Rangiora RTR Centre.

2). X-rays taken from GOLDSTAR RANDAL have revealed a central tarsal bone fracture and a comminuted fractured calcaneus with the Greyhound recovering at the Rangiora RTR Centre.

Race 4	Protocol Bar & Restaurant C1 Sprint Heat 1 - C1q - 295 Heat 1	HOMEBUSH MAGGIE (3) - referred to the Veterinarian after losing ground when checked into the bend and cleared of injury. GOLDSTAR BRODIE (7) - Stewards queried the performance of this greyhound with trainer R Evans after this runner looked inwards free of interference in the initial stages. After considering submissions tendered by Mr Evans, a veterinary examination which revealed no clinical abnormalities and the Stewards own observations the performance was deemed unsatisfactory and the greyhound was stood down pending a trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion as per GRNZ Rule LR132A(1).
