Race 3	Happy Birthday Penny Sutch-Jones - C2 - 375	HIT THE NAIL (8) - referred to the veterinarian after giving ground over the concluding stages where it was reported to have pain on palpation to both triceps with a 14-day incapacitation issued.
Race 4	CopRice Working Dog Beef Sprint - C1 - 375	TUKOROIRANGI (6) - referred to the Veterinarian after racing below market expectation where it was reported to have pain on palpation to its left tensor fascia muscle with a 10 day incapacitation issued.
Race 5	Garrards Horse & Hound Sprint - C1/2 - 375	BIG TIME STORM (1) - referred to the Veterinarian after becoming awkward in its gait and shifting up the track rounding the bend before losing ground in the run home where it was reported to have pain on rotation of its right hock with a 28 day incapacitation. Connections were issued with a direction given that x-rays are to be undertaken within 3 days and these reported back to Stewards and a Veterinary clearance tendered prior to resuming. X-rays confirmed a metatarsal fracture with further assessments to be carried out on the hock with the stand down increased to 42 days. Must trial prior to resuming. SASSY LASSIE (5) - referred to the Veterinarian after climbing on heels and losing balance entering the bend where it was reported to have pain on palpation on its left triceps and a laceration to its left hind track leg. IDOL HIT (7) - referred to the Veterinarian after being dragged down entering the bend and cleared of injury.
