1) Trainer Mrs. C Morris advised Stewards that BIG TIME BANG (race 6) had not handled the 755 metres of the race and would be looking to restrict him to racing over 660 metres at Palmerston North. Mrs. Morris also advised that BIG TIME BANG had come through the race well.
2) Trainer Ms. M Fiipp advised Stewards that OPAWA TESLA (race 13) had recovered well from the race with no swelling present in the area of the spike wound.

Stand Downs:

1) THRILLING SPIRAL (J Pruden & S Whittaker) - 28 days for Failing To Pursue the lure in race 2 and to complete a satisfactory trial.
