Auckland GRC - 5th November 2023

1). Connections advised that OPAWA TEACHER had a confirmed fractured tibia and dislocated hock and will remain in the care of the northern RTR facility for rehabilitation.

2). Connections advised that GOLDEN FERN had a confirmed fractured right hock and will remain in the care of the northern RTR facility for rehabilitation.

3). Connections advised that OPAWA JESS had a confirmed metatarsal fracture and will be spelled.

Investigation concluded:

1). The investigation opened into the scratching of THRILLING TOMMY at Auckland GRC on October 1 has been concluded resulting in trainers M & J Smith being issued with a charge in that they failed to notify Stewards of a condition that may affect its ability to run in an event with the Adjudicative Committee imposing a fine of $400.

Warning:

1). L Udy - failed to arrange a catcher for race 2.
