1). Connections have advised that OPAWA LINDA is undergoing rehabilitation for its torn achilles tendon and that the greyhound would now be retired as a brood bitch.

1). Trainer A Lee has reported that MELLON COLLIE had strained its right sesamoid with undergoing treatment.

Race 2	2023 Springston Hotel New Zealand Cup (Group 1) Semi Finals 2 - C5q - 520 Heat 2	BIG TIME BLAZER (2) - fell to the track rounding the final bend after being dragged down failing to finish the event where it was reported to have sustained a compound fracture to its right radius/ulna. The Greyhound was transported immediately to GRNZ's contracted Veterinary Clinic for further assessment with this being followed up tomorrow. A 90 day incapacitation has been issued and the Greyhound must trial prior to resuming. Assessment from GRNZ's Contracted Veterinarian concluded that due to the serverity of the fracture it was in the best interest of the greyhound that it be humanly euthanised Updated 9/11/23 WHO'S JEALOUS (7) - referred to the Veterinarian after being dragged down entering the first bend and reported to have a split webbing between its 4th and 5th digits on its left hind foot with a 10 day incapacitation issued.

ROHAN BALE (7) - referred to the Veterinarian as a precaution after racing below market expectation and cleared of injury. Stewards will follow up the recovery of this greyhound in the coming days.

Reported to have pyrexia, signs of cramping and hypoxia along with a diaphragmatic flutter with a 28 day incapacitation issued. Connections must tender a Veterinary clearance and have the greyhound undertake a satisfactory trial prior to nominating to race. MAISEY (6) - referred to the Veterinarian after being forced onto the running rail rounding the bend and cleared of injury.
Race 14	Racing Again 16 November - C4 - 295	ROANNE(6) - was a late scratching when presenting outside of the allowable weight variance. ROCKDALE DORA (8) - referred to the Veterinarian after racing wide exiting the bend before losing ground with the field and cleared of injury. Connection advised that the bitch was having its second start back from being in season and they expect her to continue to derive benefit with racing.
