After considering the submissions tendered by Mr. Morris, a veterinary examination which revealed no clinical abnormalities and the Stewards own observations the performance was deemed unsatisfactory, and the greyhound was stood down pending a trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion as per GRNZ Rule 132(A)1.

Race 8	Professional Concrete Service Ltd C4/C5 - C4/5 - 375	There was a 4 minute delay to the start of this race due to the shorter turnaround between races 7 & 8. BIG TIME SILKY (2) - referred to the Veterinarian after contacting ALLEGRO MOOCHI from behind on the point of the bend, becoming unbalanced, losing ground and cleared of injury. ALLEGRO MOOCHI (4) - referred to the Veterinarian after being contacted from behind on the point of the bend and cleared of injury.
Race 9	Paul Claridge Electrical C4/C5 - C4/5 - 457	There was a 5 minute delay to the start of this race due to the delay to the start of race 8.
Race 10	Greyhounds As Pets Reverse Criteria C1 - C1 - 375	DOUBLE HEADER late scratching when presenting outside the allowable weight variance. The meeting was put back one race following race 9 with the new start time for race 10 being 5.14pm.
