Trainer M Grant advised that DIAMOND ALEX sustained a sprained right hock after racing last night with x-rays to be taken. Stewards will follow up the results in the coming days.

After considering submissions tendered by Mr McInerney, a veterinary examination which revealed no clinical abnormalities and the Stewards own observations the performance was deemed unsatisfactory and the greyhound was stood down pending a trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion as per GRNZ Rule LR132A(1).
