Christchurch GRC - 3rd August 2023

1). The required x-rays required for SOZIN'S PRINCESS were undertaken with the greyhound now undergoing treatment. Due to the complex nature of the ailment connections are seeking a second opinion to ascertain the best course of action to have the greyhound return to the track. Connections are to provide a Veterinary clearance prior to the greyhound returning to the races.

General:

1). Stewards have directed that trainer R Wales have stool samples sent away today for testing from his greyhound 'OPAWA BARREL ' which was scratched yesterday from tonight's meeting with the reason given as Diarrhoea, with these results to be reported back to Stewards in the first instance.
