Injury Trials Required:

1) GOLDEN LOGGER (G Hodgson), fractured right hock during training trial prior to meeting and transferred immediately to GRNZ's contracted veterinary clinic for treatment with this being followed up in the coming days. A 90 day incapacitation has been issued and the Greyhound must trial prior to racing again.

Race 1	Outback Trading Company Distance C0 - C0d - 660	BIG TIME BUMPER (2) - referred to the Veterinarian after being contacted and unbalanced entering the first bend in turn contacting BIG TIME BANG eventually pulling up in the back straight, where it was reported to have a long head triceps tear with a 28 day incapacitation issued. BIG TIME BANG (4) - tightened nearing the first bend, then contacted and fell entering the first bend before regaining his feet and completing the event. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stood down for the mandatory 5 days as per GRNZ Rule 41A(1) SUPER GOLD (8) - referred to the Veterinarian after tightening BIG TIME BANG nearing the first bend, then contacted BIG TIME BUMPER entering the bend, becoming very unbalanced and cleared of injury.
Race 2	TAB Racing Mega Multi Buster Distance C1 - C1d - 660	Due to a power outage as the race started there was no photo finish available with the Judge utilizing the Stewards footage to determine the placings and margins.

Race 5	Big Barrel Palmerston North C3/C4 - C3/4 - 457	BIG TIME LOCKEY late scratching when presented outside the allowable weight variance.
Race 6	Greyhound As Pets Reverse Criteria PBD C1 - C1 - 375	MISS FISCHER (2) - referred to the Veterinarian after being contacted from behind entering the bend and losing ground and cleared of injury. DANGEROUS WOMAN (8) - referred to the Veterinarian after losing ground shortly after the start, continuing to drift thereafter; where it was reported to have pain over right sartorius muscle with a 7 day incapacitation issued. Trainer Ms. A Turnwald advised Stewards that she has applied to have DANGEROUS WOMAN's running trait changed with GRNZ and that she was also considering giving the Greyhound a brief freshen up. Not withstanding that a warning has been placed on DANGEROUS WOMAN's race record.

Race 8	TAB NZ - No Deductions, No Surprises 'Til the End Of Summer PBD C3 - C3 - 375	There was a 3 minute delay to the start of this event due to the short turn around between races 7 & 8. CLAWS IN MARVEL (7) - referred to the Veterinarian after receiving interference on a number of occasions throughout the running and cleared of injury.
Race 9	Federal Morgan At Stud C5 - C5 - 457	There was a approximate 4 minute delay to the start of this event due to the delay in race 8. BRAD MAYO (1) - referred to the Veterinarian after receiving interference on a number of occasions throughout the race and cleared of injury.
Race 10	Mayhounds Rehoming Group PBD C1 - C1 - 375
Race 11	Paul Claridge Electrical PBD C1 - C1 - 410	RECKLESS ERIC (6) - referred to the Veterinarian after being bumped, then checked and losing ground shortly after the start and cleared of injury.
Race 12	Greyhounds, The World's Fastest Couch Potatoes PBD C2 - C2 - 375	ADOBE DON (2) - proved difficult to load with Trainer Ms. M Flipp being advised by Stewards that ADOBE DON's loading will be monitored in future races.
