General:

1). Selected Greyhounds completing training trials were subjected to having urine samples collected for the purpose of out of competition testing.

2). It was brought to the attention of the chairing steward following this event that the Greyhound THRILLING CLARA (D Elder) had made contact with the Lure when making its way to the starting boxes in race 11 with this information failing to be communicated prior to the all clear being given. As a consequence to this, Stewards have disqualified the Greyhound under GRNZ Rule 19(3)(t) and spoken with the clubs starter in regards to their obligations to inform Stewards of such matters in the first instance in future. Trainer D Elder was reminded of obligations when parading to the boxes.

Race 10	Mike Stent Decorators Ltd Stakes - C3/4 - 527	Following this event track staff inspected the track rounding the turn out of the home straight and found no area of concern. THRILLING VERA (8) - referred to the Veterinarian after faltering first turn where it was reported to have torn the insertion of the right gracilis with a 42 day incapacitation issued. Must trial prior to resuming.
Race 11	Vetora Cambridge PBD Sprint - C5 - 318	RAMBLIN' HARDY (7) - referred to the Veterinarian after shifting wider away from heels rounding the bend losing ground then trailing the field where it was reported to have pain on palpation of left long head triceps with a 10 day incapacitation issued.
Race 12	Racing @ Manukau Again on Sunday PBD Sprint - C3/4 - 318	PORTLAND TREY (7) - referred to the Veterinarian after interference first turn losing ground and cleared of injury.
