Auckland GRC 11 June - Race 6

1). Trainer C Steele advised OPAWA STREAM, which did not have the veterinary examination completed, had recovered well showing no signs of abnormalities. When questioning Mr Steele regarding the examination not being carried out it was established a communication breakdown occurred with precautions put in place to ensure this is not repeated.

General:

1). Runners engaged in a qualifying trial today inadvertently did not have weights recorded with measures put in place to ensure a repeat of this does not occur.

Trainer P Heterick advised ZOE STAR may have cramped and that she was unsuited to the softer nature of todays track conditions. MIDNIGHT FAITH (4) - referred to the Veterinarian after getting hampered at the lure for some time and cleared of injury. OPAWA MAGGIE (8) - referred to the Veterinarian after getting hampered at the lure for some time where it was reported to have a very small spike wound on the left fore lateral webbing with no incapacitation issued.
