Supplementary Report - Christchurch GRC 6 June 2023:

1). X-rays taken from KNOW GRIZZLES confirmed a fracture of its right hock with the greyhound undergoing rehabilitation with GRNZ's RTR programme.

2). X-rays taken from DOUBLE QUEENIE revealed a re-fracture to a previous third tarsal fracture with the radiographs to be reviewed by a radiologist in the coming days. it was further reported that this injury will unlikely require surgery. This greyhound is being monitored by GRNZ's RTR programme until final diagnosis is confirmed.

General:

1). GONE ASTRAY (R Casey) was disqualified after winning race 2 on tonight's programme after it was discovered post race that the greyhound had been vaccinated on the 6th June 2023 and was therefore ineligible under GRNZ Rule 25(6).

Late Scratchings:

1). OPAWA PIP (R Wales) - Race 3 - ineligible under GRNZ Rule 25(6).

2). SINHA MAN (J Johnson) - Race 12 - weight variance.

3). HOMEBUSH HONEY (J McInerney) - Race 12 - mild hock sprain.

Warnings:

1). R Wales - cautioned for failing to scratch OPAWA PIP after this greyhound received a vaccination inside 5 days of this meeting resulting in it being a late scratching.

2). R Casey - cautioned for failing to scratch GONE ASTRAY after this greyhound received a vaccination inside 5 days of this meeting resulting in it's disqualification.

Satisfactory Trials Completed:

1). KNOW SPEED - electrolyte and enzyme blood test results to be tendered early next week.

2). GOLDSTAR LENNON (R Evans) - in blinkers.

3). GOLDSTAR DANE (R Evans)

4). GOLDSTAR ROMAN (R Evans) - in blinkers.
