ALPHA RITA (9/7) - Stewards queried the performance of this greyhound with handler B McInerney after this runner dropped out to a long last in the middle stages. After considering submissions tendered by Mr McInerney, a veterinary examination which revealed no clinical abnormalities and the Stewards own observations the performance was deemed unsatisfactory and the greyhound was stood down pending a trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion as per GRNZ Rule LR132A(1).
