1). The Executive Officer of Racing Integrity Board received a Request for a Review lodged by part-owner Mrs B Evans against a decision handed down by the Racing Integrity Board Stewards at Christchurch GRC's Meeting on the 19th May 2023 in that her greyhound, GOLDSTAR BENNETT' had not marred during the event. At the hearing held today at Addington raceway the Adjudicative Committee, having viewed the replay vision and taking into account evidence tendered by Stewards and part-owner Mr S Evans, found that it was correct for the Stewards to form the opinion that the greyhound 'GOLDSTAR BENNETT' had marred during the event and the review was dismissed.

Race 3	Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C3 - 520	DIAMOND WARRIOR (1) - referred to the Veterinarian after sustaining a check entering the first bend before losing contact with the field where it was reported to have swelling to its Achilles along with a panful gastrocnemius on palpation with a 60 day incapacitation issued and direction to have the greyhound examined by GRNZ's contracted Veterinarian tomorrow to which Stewards will follow up. Veterinary clearance and satisfactory trial required prior to resuming.
Race 4	Active Electrical Christchurch Dash - C5 - 295	GOLDSTAR TOOKIE (3) - referred to the Veterinarian after sustaining a significant check entering the bend and cleared of injury. HUNCH (6) - referred to the Veterinarian after being dragged down entering the bend and cleared of injury. MABLE JEWEL (8) - fell to the track when unable to clear checked runners entering the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stood down for the mandatory 5 days as per GRNZ Rule LR41A(1)
