Race 2	Paul Claridge Electrical Distance C0 - C0d - 660	TAI PO (2) - sustained an injury when pulling up at the lure. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have fractured the right radius/ulna. The Greyhound was transported immediately to GRNZ's contracted Veterinary Clinic for treatment with this being followed up in the coming days. A 90 day incapacitation has been issued and the Greyhound must trial prior to racing again.

Race 4	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C2/C3 - C2/3 - 457	BIG TIME WALTER (3) - referred to the Veterinarian after contact several occasions rounding the bend losing ground where it was reported to have pain over the left whip muscle with a 7 day incapacitation issued. BIG TIME JONAS (8) - fell when checked first turn. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stood down for the mandatory 5 days as per GRNZ Rule LR41(A)1.

THRILLING HERBIE (6) - referred to the Veterinarian after at trainers request after showing signs of lameness following this event where it was reported to have pain over the left fore 5th toe with a 14 day incapacitation issued and x-rays required at trainers discretion. Stewards will follow up in coming days. Trainer K Lincoln-Papuni reported THRILLING HERBIE underwent x-rays on Friday 19 May which revealed no fractures.
