1) BIG TIME REWARD (race 8) had x-rays carried out on Saturday 6th May 2023 which confirmed a right hock fracture. Surgery was performed on 8th May 2023 at Animates Vetcare. BIG TIME REWARD was transferred to the RTR facility on Tuesday 9th May 2023 to begin rehabilitation.

1) CLAWS IN GAGA (G Thompson) - race 5.

Warnings.

1) G Thompson was issued with a warning when failing to catch as arranged in race 7.

Race 3	Greyhounds Make Great Pets C1 PBD 305m - C1 - 305	BIG TIME GIFT (6) - presented to the Veterinarian by connections after having blood present on the left hind foot where it was reported to have a split webbing between the 4th and 5th digit with a 21 day incapacitation issued.
Race 4	Display Associates C1 PBD 305M - C1 - 305	SEDGEBROOK SALLY (2) - when questioned into improved performance kennel representative Ms. W Kite advised Stewards that SEDGEBROOK SALLY had benefited from returning to racing on a two turn track. CLAWS IN CREED (8) - boxed first.
Race 5	PRESIDENTS STAKES C1 520m - C1 - 520	There was a delay to the start of this event due to a communication issue with Race Day Control. CLAWS IN GAGA was a late scratching outside weight variance.
Race 6	Wanganui Greyhounds C1 PBD 305M - C1 - 305	There was a delay of approximately 3 minutes to the start of this event when a broken muzzle needed replacing. SHAKE A LEG (1) - referred to the Veterinarian after receiving interference on several occasions throughout and cleared of injury. KINETIC JYN (2) - referred to the Veterinarian after being severely tightened and losing ground nearing the home straight and cleared of injury. OUR WEE SOLDIER (3) - referred to the Veterinarian after being heavily contacted shortly after the start and cleared of injury. WAITING GAME (4) - referred to the Veterinarian after being heavily contacted shortly after the start and cleared of injury.
Race 7	Wanganui Jockey Club C1 520m - C1 - 520	There was a 2 minute delay to the start of this event due to the delay in Race 6.
Race 8	Greyhounds As Pets C1 PBD 305m - C1 - 305	KIRKBY (6) - referred to the Veterinarian after beginning very awkwardly, and appearing to have difficulty in his action thereafter where it was reported to have right triceps muscle soreness with a 5 day incapacitation issued.
Race 9	Nightrave Greyhound Adoption C2 520m - C2 - 520	BIG TIME PROOF (2) - referred to the Veterinarian after being buffeted between runners for a distance shortly after the start and cleared of injury.
Race 10	Wanganui Tote Consortium C5 PBD 305m - C5 - 305	EYTUKAN (3) - referred to the Veterinarian after being contacted from behind and dragged, losing ground and cleared of injury.
