Palmerston North GRC - 29 March 2023

1) ALPHA RILEY (J McInerney) was presented to the OTV for re-examination following his stand down at this meeting and found to be clear of injury with the 28 day stand down being revoked.

General:

1) There was a false start in Race 12 due to the boxes malfunctioning.

BIG TIME AUDI (2) - referred to the Veterinarian after receiving interference shortly after the start, almost falling as a result and cleared of injury.
Race 3	Paul Claridge Electrical PBD C2 - C2 - 375	DREAM BUSH (1) - referred to the Veterinarian after being tightened and appearing to contact the rail entering the bend and cleared of injury.
Race 4	Nightrave Greyhounds Adoption C0 - C0 - 457	RECKLESS ERIC (4) - referred to the Veterinarian after beginning awkwardly, contacting outside runner, then being contacted from behind and dragged down and cleared of injury. SWEET SILVER (7) - boxed first.
Race 5	Outback Trading Company C4/C5 - C4/5 - 375	ELUSIVE ALIBI (1) - referred to the Veterinarian after receiving interference on a number of occasions, losing ground as a result and cleared of injury. BIG TIME SEATTLE (7) - proved difficult to load, Stewards will monitor her loading in future races.

Race 12	Greyhounds, World's Fastest Couch Potatoes PBD C1 - C1 - 410	There was a false start to this event due to the boxes not opening, with the boxes being tested prior to the restart. All runners were removed from the boxes and underwent veterinary examinations and were cleared to start.
