General:

1). Following race 4 the lure arm was broken with a replacement lure required.

2). There was a lure malfunction during stir ups for race 6. Track staff identified the break and advised stewards the issue could not be rectified and, due to the lure arms not being transferable between lure carriages, no other replacement lure was available to continue racing with the remainder of the meeting subsequently abandoned. Track staff later identified an area of concern on the rail where the lure lost power. The club will undertake any repairs required prior to racing next.

3). Following the running of race 5 a mechanical failure was identified with the 318 metre boxes. The failure was unable to be rectified with all remaining 318 metre races to be hand started for the remainder of the meeting.

Injury trial required:

1). MAJESTIC LEGEND ( P Ferguson) - sustained an injury to the right gracilis when attempting to complete a satisfactory weight trial with a 42 day stand down imposed. Must trial prior to resuming.

2). THRILLING POLLY (M McPhee) - must trial prior to resuming.

DUBLIN EXPRESS (8) - referred to the Veterinarian after getting hampered first turn becoming unbalanced and falling where it was reported to have a laceration on the left foreleg requiring sutures with a 21 day incapacitation issued.
Race 4	Auckland Cup Carnival 19 & 26 March PBD Sprint - C1 - 318	THRILLING POLLY (3) - referred to the Veterinarian after interference rounding the bend losing ground where it was reported to have a torn right gracilis with a 42 day stand down incapacitation issued. Must trial prior to resuming. JEAN GENIE (6) - referred to the Veterinarian after getting hampered first turn becoming badly unbalanced and cleared of injury. HEDGE HUNTER (8) - when questioned regarding the improved performance P Heterick advised that HEDGE HUNTER has been improving from weight reductions and benefited from an unimpeded run from the preferential box draw of box 8. FULL OF SECRETS (9/7) - referred to the Veterinarian after getting hampered first turn becoming badly unbalanced where it was reported to have a laceration under the left dew claw with with a 21 day incapacitation issued.
