Auckland GRC 26 February race 4 - Trainer R Roper advised ALLEGRO DRAKE was showing signs of pain in the left quadriceps and would have a brief spell from racing.

General:

1). Selected greyhounds competing in solo training trials were required to provide samples for the purpose of Out Of Competition testing.

Satisfactory trial completed:

1). MAJESTIC LEGEND (P Ferguson) - completed a satisfactory trial in an outside blinker.

Injury trial completed:

1). CHASE ME DOWN (P Ferguson) - completed an injury trial as required.

1). Mepunga Blazer / Funky Town pup (H Mullane) - injured the left gracilis during a pre race trial with a 42 day stand down imposed and a trial required prior to resuming.
