1). Trainer A Christiansen advised that x-rays taken from his greyhound ROWDY'S MONSTER have revealed a non displaced fracture to its right ulna with the 42 day stand down being extended to 90 days at the recommendation of the on track Veterinarian.

Auckland GRC - 19th March 2023

1). Kennel representative B Cole advised that HOMETOWN HERO had sustained an injury to its left Achilles tendon in its engagement at this meeting with this necessitating its scratching from todays meeting and the greyhound being retired from racing.

Race 12	MPS Fencing PBD Sprint Series Final - C2f - 318	BIG TIME TONK (2) - referred to the Veterinarian after being forced to make heavy contact with the running rail exiting the final bend where it was reported to have a laceration of its left longhead triceps with significant hemorrhaging. The Greyhound was transported immediately to GRNZ's contracted Veterinary Clinic for treatment with this being followed up in the coming days. A 42 day incapacitation has been issued and a Veterinarian clearance must be provided before a satisfactory trial is completed prior to racing.
