General :

1.) On parading to the start of race 7 some handlers raised concerns with a part of the track near the pull-up area. Stewards along with the track curator inspected the area of concern with remedial work being carried out to the satisfaction of the Stewards. The meeting was put back one race in order to carry out the required remedial work.

ON MY TERMS (7) - referred to the Veterinarian after falling when placed in restricted room entering the bend where it was reported to have general muscle soreness and a minor laceration on right foot with a 7 day incapacitation issued. Race 3	Rubbish & Junk Removal PN C2 - C2 - 375	ALLEGRO BARREL (7) - referred to the Veterinarian after receiving interference shortly after the start then appearing awkward in its action thereafter and cleared of injury.
Race 4	Big Barrel Palmerston North C2/C3 - C2/3 - 457	BIG TIME BRYNLEY late scratching at kenneling on veterinary advice.
Race 5	Greyhounds Make Great Pets C3/C4 - C3/4 - 375	ALLEGRO ZIPPY (8) - Performed below market expectations, when questioned L Cole kennel representative Ms. C Harding advised Stewards that this was the Greyhounds first start since May 2022 and the kennel would expect her to derive benefit from todays run.
Race 6	TAB Racing Mega Multi Buster C5 - C5 - 375	ALLEGRO MOOCHI late scratching at kenneling when found to be in season.
Race 7	Federal Morgan At Stud C4 - C4 - 457	The meeting was put back one race due to remedial work being required prior to the running of this race. Refer Judicial. GOLDEN LOGGER (4) - referred to the Veterinarian after being heavily contacted after starting awkwardly where it was reported to have general muscle soreness with a 7 day incapacitation issued.
Race 8	Great Mates Rehoming Programme PBD C1 - C1 - 410	BIG TIME GIRLY (6) - referred to the Veterinarian after starting very awkwardly and cleared of injury.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C3/C4 - C3/4 - 375	ELUSIVE ALIBI (1) - referred to the Veterinarian after dragging down THRILLING MAPLE entering the bend and cleared of injury. BLAZIN' CAROLYN (2) - referred to the Veterinarian after interference entering the bend and found to have minor spike wounds on both back hinds with no stand down required. THRILLING MAPLE (3) - referred to the Veterinarian after being dragged down entering the bend and found to have left hind webbing laceration with a 10 day incapacitation issued.
