Palmerston North GRC - 30 December 2022

1) L Cole kennel representative Ms. C Harding advised Stewards that BIG TIME BINGO was almost recovered from the left elbow pain, however was now showing signs of soreness in the left wrist.
2) K Lincoln-Papuni advised Stewards that THRILLING ELSIE was recovering well and would be given a freshen up prior to racing again.

Palmerston North GRC - 04 January 2023

1) M Flipp advised Stewards that OPAWA RICHARD was showing signs of soreness following this meeting. Ms Flipp had x-rays taken which showed no sign of any fracture however there was significant swelling to the area around the right thigh and stifle. OPAWA RICHARD is undergoing further treatment.

Race 2	Greyhound As Pets PBD C1 - C1 - 375	STRAIGHT SHOT (1) - referred to the Veterinarian after being dragged down by BIG TIME BRINDLE in the home straight and cleared of injury. BIG TIME BRINDLE (6) - referred to the Veterinarian after dragging down STRAIGHT SHOT in the home straight and reported to have left gracillis pain with a 10 day incapacitation issued.

Race 4	Outback Trading Company C3 - C3 - 375	BIG TIME VIOLET (5) - referred to the Veterinarian after being bumped and becoming unbalanced entering the home straight where it was reported to have a left hind foot laceration with a 7 day incapacitation issued. MAD WORLD (8) - referred to the Veterinarian after blood was evident in mouth following the completion of the race and cleared of injury.
Race 5	TAB NZ - No Deductions, No Surprises Till the End Of Summer C4 - C4 - 375	BIG TIME FANCY (3) - referred to the Veterinarian after being squeezed onto heels and becoming unbalanced entering the bend and cleared of injury. LOSING DAYS (6) - referred to the Veterinarian after being heavily contacted and becoming unbalanced entering the bend and reported to have a mild scratch / abrasion down right distal hock with no incapacitation issued.
Race 6	Greyhounds Make Great Pets C2 - C2 - 375	THRILLING ZIGGY (8) - referred to the Veterinarian after receiving interference several times throughout the running and was cleared of injury.
