Race 2	Greyhound As Pets C0 - C0 - 457	BIG TIME BINGO (1) - referred to the Veterinarian after becoming unbalanced entering the bend and losing ground where it was reported to have pain on elbow palpation with a 14 day incapacitation issued. OTV recommends x-rays, with Stewards to follow up in the coming days. JAY JAY GO (7) - boxed first.
Race 3	Federal Morgan At Stud PBD C1 - C1 - 375	HIGHVIEW NESS was a late scratching at 12.25pm.
Race 4	Big Barrel Palmerston North PBD C1 - C1 - 375	There was a slight delay to the start of this event when GO NORMAN escaped from his handler during the stir-up when the harness broke, underwent a veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Stewards inspected the harness and found it to have been in previously good condition. THRILLING ELSIE (1) - referred to the Veterinarian at the trainers request; where it was reported to have pain on palpation of distal right humerus with a 14 day incapacitation issued. OTV recommends x-rays with Stewards to follow up in the coming days. COMMISSAR (7) - referred to the Veterinarian after racing wider than usual and losing ground; where it was reported to have general muscle soreness with a 10 day incapacitation issued. Trainer Mrs. D Bell advised Stewards that in her opinion COMMISSAR may not have backed up from racing on 28 December.
Race 5	kiwikiwihounds.co.nz Adoption C5 - C5 - 375	HIGHVIEW ANNA (4) - referred to the Veterinarian after being severely squeezed entering the bend, losing ground as a result where it was reported to have split webbing left hind and mild shoulder soreness right front with a 14 day incapacitation issued.
