General:

1) Selected greyhounds competing in solo training trials were required to provide a sample of urine for the purpose of out of competition testing.

1) AL'S CASINO (L Pearce) - 28 days for Failing to Pursue the Lure in Race 4.
2) CLANSMAN DOUGLAS (R Murray) - 14 day stand down with split webbing following training trial prior to meeting.

Race 2	TAB NZ - No Deductions, No Surprises 'Til the End Of Summer C0 - C0 - 375	BIG TIME BINGO (1) - referred to the Veterinarian after jostling with outside runner and appearing to contact the rail on the point of the bend and cleared of injury. SWEET SILVER (8) - referred to the Veterinarian after jostling with inside runner and appearing to stumble on the point of the bend and cleared of injury.
Race 3	Rubbish & Junk Removal PN PBD C1 - C1 - 375	BIG TIME GIFT (4) - referred to the Veterinarian after receiving a check and being shunted sideways entering the home straight and cleared of injury.
Race 4	Great Mates Rehoming Programme PBD C1 - C1 - 375	BIG TIME CARNAGE (5) - referred to the Veterinarian after being checked and dragged entering the bend where it was reported to have minor laceration on top of foot right hind with a 7 day incapacitation issued. AL'S CASINO (6) - turned her head out towards runner to her outside, without making muzzle contact underwent a Veterinary examination and cleared of injury. Stood down for 28 days and pending a satisfactory trial as per GRNZ Rule 55.1(b). Trainer L Pearce, advised Stewards that it was her intention to retire Al's Casino.
Race 5	Big Barrel Palmerston North C1 - C1 - 457
Race 6	Federal Morgan At Stud C4 - C4 - 457	There was a 3 1/2 minute delay to the start of this race due to torrential rain, thunder and lightning.
Race 7	TAB Racing Mega Multi Buster PBD C1 - C1 - 410	There was a 2 minute delay to the start of this race due to the delay prior to the start of race 6. SWEET LUELLA (2) - referred to the Veterinarian after being tightened and contacting the rail nearing the bend and cleared of injury.
Race 8	Outback Trading Company C2 - C2 - 375	BIG TIME BUMPER (5) - referred to the Veterinarian after being severely squeezed between runners nearing the bend, becoming unbalanced and losing ground and cleared of injury.
Race 9	Merry Christmas From PNGRC C3 - C3 - 375	CLAWS IN CREED (4) - boxed first.
