BLACKCURRANT (4) - contacted SWEET MIX from behind entering the bend, becoming unbalanced and losing ground. SPACE TRON (6) - angled inwards at the start inconveniencing OUR BLACK PRINCE. SWEET MIX (7) - contacted and dragged from behind entering the bend, losing considerable ground. Out of contention thereafter. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. OUR BLACK PRINCE (9/5) - inconvenienced at the start, losing ground as a result. Coursed wide entering the home straight.
Race 2	Dog Speed PBD Sprint - C1 - 375	BIG TIME RASCAL (1) - contacted from behind shortly after the start. OPAWA MEG (2) - bumped BUTTERFLY CHILD at the start, then contacted BIG TIME RASCAL from behind shortly after the start, becoming unbalanced and falling as a result. Regained her feet and completed the event.. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. Stood down for 5 days under the provisions of GRNZ Rule 56A(1). BUTTERFLY CHILD (3) - bumped at the start. Attempted to improve into a marginal gap nearing the home turn, losing some momentum. BUNDEE BOMBER (8) - raced wide throughout.
Race 3	The Clubhouse Cambridge Sprint - C1/2 - 375	Track down graded to Dead following race 2 after heavy rain. NIGHTHAWK STORM (3) - began awkwardly contacting KNUCKLES NUGGET. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the home straight, moving wider as a result. KNUCKLES NUGGET (4) - contacted at the start, becoming very unbalanced and losing ground. Contacted OPAWA BARRY from behind nearing the home straight. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. COOLIBAH KID (5) - moved up the track entering the home straight. OPAWA ELEGANT (7) - raced wide at various stages. OPAWA BARRY (8) - slow away. Contacted from behind nearing the home straight.
Race 4	Pump & Engineering Services Ltd Stakes - C2/3 - 457	THRILLING HERBIE (1) - shouldered ZIPPING LOCKETT shortly after the start. ZIPPING LOCKETT (2) - shouldered THRILLING HERBIE shortly after the start. Tightened entering the bend. SOLDIER BLUE (3) - bumped nearing the bend. Coursed wide entering the home straight. SODA SPLIT (4) - bumped SOLDIER BLUE nearing the bend. Contacted entering the bend, losing ground. DOUBLE MAJOR (6) - bumped and moved inwards entering the bend contacting SODA SPLIT. Contacted nearing the home straight, losing some ground. Coursed wide entering the home straight. JAM PACKED (7) - contacted from behind shortly after the start. Bumped DOUBLE MAJOR entering the bend. Contacted DOUBLE MAJOR nearing the home straight, becoming momentarily unbalanced. ALLEGRO WARRIOR (8) - contacted JAM PACKED from behind shortly after the start. Tightened ZIPPING LOCKETT entering the bend.
Race 5	The Shoe Box Appeal PBD Sprint - C1 - 375	BIG TIME FABIO (1) - bumped shortly after the start. Tightened entering the bend. BIG TIME ZOLA (2) - slow away. Bumped BIG TIME FABIO shortly after the start, then tightened that runner entering the bend. CAPPIELLO (4) - squeezed IN THE CLINCH nearing the bend. Tightened nearing the home straight when attempting to improve to the inside of HURRICANE BOB. Coursed wide entering the home straight. IN THE CLINCH (5) - squeezed between runners nearing the bend, losing ground. Raced wide through the bend and home straight. HURRICANE BOB (6) - squeezed IN THE CLINCH nearing the bend. Tightened CAPPIELLO nearing the home straight. When questioned with regards to improved performance kennel representative Ms. D Elder advised Stewards that the kennel had been happy with HURRICANE BOB's training leading into today's event and they were expecting him to race well. CREAMING SODA (7) - raced wide for the majority of the event. PORTLAND GRACE (8) - slow away. Raced wide throughout.
Race 6	MPS Fencing Sprint - C3 - 375	BIG TIME SEATTLE (3) - squeezed BARNEY PARROT at the start. Continued to move up the track bumping PORTLAND TIMMY shortly after the start. Bumped and lost ground entering the home straight. BARNEY PARROT (4) - squeezed at the start, losing ground. Bumped BIG TIME SEATTLE entering the home straight. PORTLAND TIMMY (5) - squeezed BARNEY PARROT at the start. Bumped shortly after the start. Raced wide through the home straight. EL PADRINO (6) - raced wide through the bend and home straight. MIDNIGHT FAITH (7) - raced very wide through the home straight. ALLEGRO DRAKE (8) - slow away.

Attempted to move up the track shortly after the start becoming awkwardly placed behind runners entering the bend. Raced wide at various stages. BIG TIME TASTY (2) - bumped shortly after the start. Buffeted ALLEGRO VEY on several occasions through the bend. ALLEGRO VEY (3) - bumped BIG TIME TASTY shortly after the start. Buffeted on several occasions through the bend, losing ground as a result. LOYAL REDEEMER (5) - placed in restricted room entering the bend, losing some momentum. Coursed wide nearing the home straight inconveniencing LET LOVE RULE. LET LOVE RULE (6) - bumped and lost ground at the start. Raced wide entering the bend. Inconvenienced nearing the home straight losing some ground.
