1). Stewards conducted out of competition testing for all starters and reserve greyhounds entered into the New Zealand Greyhound Cup and the Galaxy Final leading into tonight's meeting.

Race 2	J & R Contracting Ltd Feature - R/A - 520	SILKY ADOBE (1) - awkwardly placed to the inside of GOLDSTAR TOBY entering the first bend checking outwards and colliding with GOLDSTAR AUSTIN. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. GOLDSTAR TOBY (4) - awkwardly positioned to the outside of SILKY ADOBE entering the first bend being turned outwards and losing momentum briefly. Again turned outwards rounding the first bend when crowding the racing room of GOLDSTAR DAVEY. GOLDSTAR DAVEY (6) - slow early before checking off the heels of GOLDSTAR TOBY. Crowded and lost momentum rounding the first bend. GOLDSTAR AUSTIN (10/7) - slow early. Collided with SILKY ADOBE entering the first bend losing ground.
Race 3	Garrard's Horse And Hound Feature - C4 - 295	REGAL BIRDIE (1) - shouldered with LUCKY JACK approaching the bend losing ground. Crowded entering the bend losing ground before shouldering with ORISHA BALE. NIGHTHAWK SWIFT (2) - checked entering the bend after crowding REGAL BIRDIE. LUCKY JACK (3) - shouldered with MR FESTUS early stages before shouldering with REGAL BIRDIE approaching the bend. MR FESTUS (4) - shouldered with LUCKY JACK early stages. ORISHA BALE (6) - slow early. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend losing ground. Shouldered with REGAL BIRDIE rounding the bend.
Race 4	The Home Kill Guys Distance Feature - C2d - 645	HUMBLING (2) - shouldered with NAYA BALE entering the home straight on the first occasion. NAYA BALE (4) - shouldered with HUMBLING entering the home straight on the first occasion. NIGHTHAWK THORN (8) - hampered entering the kennels bend. GOLDSTAR WALKER (9/7) - slow early. Clipped the heels of NIGHTHAWK NOISE entering the kennels bend. NIGHTHAWK NOISE (10/5) - slow early. Heels clipped entering the kennels bend.
Race 5	Real Pet Foods Rolleston Feature - C2 - 520	FRANK (1) - shouldered with GRANDE VUE ACE in the initial stages. GRANDE VUE ACE (2) - hindquarters raced on early stage before shouldering with FRANK. Obligated to check and lose momentum approaching the first bend. WIDE BOY (3) - raced in restricted room early stages. Obligated to check off heels approaching the first bend. MY CURLY (5) - shifted inwards off heels approaching the first bend.
Race 6	2022 Springston Hotel Galaxy - C5f - 295	MADE THE CUT (2) - shouldered with OPAWA BARNS in the run to the bend. Checked from behind rounding the bend. OPAWA BARNS (3) - shouldered with MADE THE CUT in the run to the bend. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend before having its hindquarters raced on and falling to the track. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stood down for the mandatory 5 days as per GRNZ rule 56A(1) BIG TIME PRADA (6) - shouldered with MONEY BAGS early stages. Placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. Contacted the hindquarters of OPAWA BARNS rounding the bend. MONEY BAGS (7) - shouldered with BIG TIME PRADA early stages.
Race 7	Clarkson's Sign Studio Feature - C4 - 520	MR. HOLYFIELD (1) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the first bend shifting up the track as a consequence. Climbed on heels entering the back straight losing ground. ZIPPING TRACKER (2) - checked from behind entering the back straight losing ground. GITAN (3) - raced in tight quarters early stages. GOLDSTAR GIGI (6) - awkward out of the boxes. CHASE ME DOWN (7) - slipped exiting the boxes losing ground.
Race 8	2022 Suck It Up Ltd NZ Greyhound Cup - C5f - 520	OPAWA WARRIOR (1) - shouldered with MUSTANG CHARLIE early stages. Contacted from the outside approaching the first bend before being checked and losing ground. MUSTANG CHARLIE (2) - shouldered with OPAWA WARRIOR early stages. MRS CHINN (3) - contacted from the outside approaching the first bend shifting down the track and contacting OPAWA WARRIOR. QUINTESSA BALE (6) - bumped down the track approaching the first bend colliding with MRS CHINN who in turn contacted OPAWA WARRIOR. Placed in restricted room entering the bend being dragged down and losing ground. MAJESTIC LEGEND (7) - hampered entering the first bend. OPAWA SUPERSTAR (8) - awkwardly placed between runners entering the final bend.
