Stand down rescinded:

1). TRIGGERED (W & T Steele) was presented to the veterinarian under rule 56.5 after being stood down at Auckland GRC on October 23 and found to be cleared of injury. A urine sample was taken from TRIGGERED.

Late scratching:

1). PORTLAND ETHAN (T & L Craik) - late scratching on veterinary advice at kenneling.

2). STARLIGHT RIA (E Potts) - by order of Stewards after having its right front leg caught in the boxes when the start was effected being denied a fair start.

Race 12 - By order of Stewards acting under GRNZ Rule 11.3 (s) in that the conduct of the meeting was compromised following a number of serious injuries having been diagnosed throughout the currency of the meeting. Stewards took this course of action after consultation with the On Track Veterinarian and Trainers with runners engaged in the final race of the program.

NELLIE LEMON (1) - bumped first turn. BUCKLAND KING (2) - tightened and checked first turn. Bumped rounding the bend. OUR BLACK PRINCE (4) - slow away. Steadied when tightened first turn. Tightened and checked rounding the bend losing ground and shifting out off heels. SWEET MIX (6) - slow away. Inconvenienced rounding the bend shifting in off heels. RED CONQUEST (7) - shifted out off heels final straight. SCOTCH MIST (8) - raced wide. Faltered rounding the bend losing contact with the field. Veterinary examination revealed a fractured right hock with a 90 day stand down imposed. Required to trial prior to resuming. HUNTER JACK (9/3) - contacted hindquarters rounding the bend becoming unbalanced losing ground then shifted in onto OUR BLACK PRINCE.
Race 2	Book Your Function @ Sportsbowl Function Centre PBD Sprint - C1 - 318	CANTON (1) - collided first turn. BATTLE CRUISER (2) - slow away. Tightened and hampered between runners first turn becoming unbalanced losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. ADOBE SLICE (3) - contacted the running rail rounding the bend losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. BLITZING STAR (6) - collided first turn becoming unbalanced shifting wider. BIG TIME GUCCI (7) - slow away. Tightened and hampered between runners first turn becoming unbalanced losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
Race 3	Pump & Engineering Services Ltd Stakes - C1 - 527	LIVE STREAMING (1) - slow away. Tightened making contact entering the first turn losing ground. Collided several occasions rounding the first bend. BIG TIME DORY (2) - bumped entering the first turn then tightened making contact for a distance losing ground. GO EVE (3) - slow away. Checked off heels rounding the first bend. CHI LIN (4) - Inconvenienced first turn shifting wider. Tightened between runners rounding the first turn making contact losing ground. Tightened and checked leaving the back straight making contact becoming unbalanced losing ground. ABOUT TO DO (5) - tightened making contact rounding the first turn. IN THE CLINCH (6) - angled in first turn tightening insider runners making brief contact. Jostled rounding the bend into the back straight shifting wide. Collided early in the final straight losing ground. BUTTERFLY CHILD (7) - slow away. Inconvenienced first turn shifting wider. Collided several occasions rounding the first bend. Contact rounding the bend leaving the back straight becoming unbalanced losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. OPAWA ANDY (8) - jostled rounding the bend into the back straight shifting wide. Collided early in the final straight.
Race 4	Dog Speed Sprint - C3 - 318	PORTLAND ETHAN was a late scratching at kenneling for a right fore toe injury. PORTLAND JAKE (1) - slow away. Shifted out off heels rounding the bend into the line of MY MATE SPEIGHT. OPAWA ELEGANT (3) - inconvenienced back straight. Collided early in the final straight. PORTLAND PEARL (4) - collided back straight. MY MATE SPEIGHT (6) - tightened making contact back straight losing ground shifting out coming together with OPAWA SOLOMAN then checked shifting wider losing ground. OPAWA SOLOMON (7) - contact first turn then checked getting forced wider losing ground. COOLIBAH KID (8) - shifted in back straight making contact. Collided early in the final straight.
Race 5	Last One Standing 20 Nov PBD Sprint - C1 - 318	PIPPILOTTA (1) - tightened and checked first turn losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed right tarsal sprain with a 28 day stand down imposed. ALLEGRO BRYAN (2) - tightened and checked first turn losing ground. SASSY LASSIE (3) - slow away. Got on heels concluding stages. STEVE'S SHOUT (4) - collided several occasions first turn losing ground. BIG TIME CHERRY (5) - collided several occasions first turn losing ground. Shifted in off heels final straight. BOOT CAMP TIARA (6) - tightened making contact first turn losing ground. TEEING OFF (7) - contact first turn. BUNDEE BOMBER (8) - contact from behind concluding stages.
Race 6	Book Your Christmas Function @ Sportsbowl Function Centre Sprint - C4 - 318	STARLIGHT RIA (See Judicial) Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have right tarsal sprain with a 42 day incapacitation issued and x-rays required within 3 days. Must trial prior to resuming. ZIPPING AUBRY (1) - contacted from behind entering the first turn. EL PADRINO (2) - slow away. Tightened and hampered for a distance after the start then jostled throughout the back straight getting checked first turn losing ground. ZIPPING SPOOK (3) - collided start. Tightened and hampered for a distance after the start then jostled throughout the back straight then getting checked first turn losing ground. ZOE STAR (4) - collided start. Tightened and hampered after the start then made contact for a distance. Collided first turn becoming badly unbalanced losing ground. Collided entering the final straight. Steadied when tightened concluding stages. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. ALLEGRO RORY (6) - angled in after the start tightening inside runners then dictated up the track before shifting in across heels entering the first turn. PORTLAND TIMMY (8) - slow away. Checked first turn shifting wide off heels. Collided entering the final straight.
Race 7	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group PBD Sprint - C1 - 318	BIG TIME RASCAL (1) - contacted from behind final straight. KNUCKLES NUGGET (2) - tightened and checked rounding the bend shifting out across heels. Checked entering the final straight contacting hindquarters. BIG TIME TASTY (4) - briefly contacted from behind rounding the bend. Tightened and checked final straight getting on heels then shifting out concluding stages. BIG TIME MOSSY (5) - contact entering the final straight. HURRICANE BOB (6) - slow away. Contact entering the final straight. FORD MAN (7) - faltered rounding the bend losing contact with the field. Veterinary examination revealed a torn left gracilis with a 42 day incapacitation issued. Must trial prior to resuming.
Race 8	MPS Fencing Stakes - C2/3 - 527	OPAWA ARLO (1) - slow away. Bumped final bend. ROSA JEWEL (2) - tightened first turn. BIG TIME BOSTON (3) - collided first turn. JAM PACKED (6) - tightened between runners first turn making contact. THRILLING POLLY (7) - bumped after the start. Tightened between runners first turn making contact. Dictated wider back straight losing ground. SODA SPLIT (8) - bumped after the start. Collided first turn losing ground. Bumped final bend. GREAT WORK (9/4) - slow away.
Race 9	Hewlett Electrical Sprint - C5 - 318	This raced was abandoned after the lure lost power in the run to the finish line with several greyhounds making heavy contact with the lure or running rail. All greyhounds were subjected to Veterinary examinations with outcomes as detailed below. GO AHEAD CALLER (1) - Veterinarian examination revealed no injury WHEELS ON FIRE (2) - Veterinarian examination revealed no injury TEN AFTER FOUR (3) - Veterinarian examination revealed a laceration to its left and right fore leg and right hind leg with a 10 day incapacitation issued. ROCKED IT (4) - Veterinarian examination revealed no injury. KAY'S LAST (5) - Veterinarian examination revealed split webbing to its right fore foot with a 21 day incapacitation issued. PORTLAND OPAL (6) - Veterinarian examination revealed no injury. BUDDY BOOM (7) - Veterinarian examination revealed no injury. MARCUS (8) - Veterinarian examination revealed a compound fracture to its left carpal. The greyhound was transported immediately to GRNZ's contracted Veterinarian clinic for treatment. A 90 incapacitation was issued and the greyhound must trial should it resume racing.
Race 10	SENZ 1476am Sprint - C2 - 318	There was a delay to the start of this event after the lure malfunction in race 9. The lure was replaced and tested to satisfaction prior to resuming. WHO I AM (2) - jostled for a distance after the start and throughout the back straight losing ground first turn. ALLEGRO ROBBIE (3) - jostled for a distance after the start and throughout the back straight losing ground first turn. Contacted the running rail rounding the bend. Contacted the running rail after the winning post then tightened making contact becoming unbalanced. Faltered approaching the lure with a veterinary examination diagnosing a fractured right hock with a 90 day stand down imposed. Required to trial prior to resuming. GRUMPY JOCK (4) - jostled for a distance after the start. Bumped first turn. LACHLAN'S GIRL (5) - jostled for a distance after the start shifting out off heels. Bumped first turn. BELMONTS (6) - tightened and checked after the start losing ground. Tightened first turn. Shifted out off heels final bend. OPAWA MEG (7) - bumped after the start losing ground.
Race 11	Mt Wellington TAB Stakes - C4/5 - 527	BLUE ON BLACK (1) - tightened final bend. OPAWA ROWAN (2) - bumped first turn shifting wider. Raced wide back straight. Collided rounding the bend leaving the back straight losing ground. Solid contact final bend becoming unbalanced giving ground. Veterinary examination revealed a fractured right hock with a 90 day stand down imposed. Required to trial prior to resuming. BLACK TEA (3) - jostled back straight. SERBIAN ACE (5) - slow away. Tightened making contact first turn losing ground. Collided rounding the bend leaving the back straight. GO JOHNNY GO (6) - jostled back straight. THRILLING GEM (7) - bumped start. Solid contact final bend. OPAWA ALBERT (8) - began awkwardly becoming unbalanced making contact. Collided first turn getting into the line of SERBIAN ACE.
