Raced in tight quarters prior to exiting the bend before having its heels clipped entering the home straight. BUSTER'S BROTHER (3) - shouldered with BARBER CUBED approaching the bend. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend shifting up the track and causing an inconvenience to ANNA JEM. Clipped the heels of BARBER CUBED entering the home straight. MABLE JEWEL (4) - heels clipped entering the bend. HOMEBUSH SOCKS (5) - lost momentum when checking off heels entering the bend. VERDUN BALE (7) - clipped the heels of MABLE JEWEL entering the bend falling to the track as a consequence. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stood down for the mandatory 5 days under GRNZ rule 56A.1 ANNA JEM (8) - inconvenienced rounding the bend and again prior to exiting the bend.
Race 2	2022 Springston Hotel Galaxy Sprint Heat 2 - C5q - 295 Heat 2	AMURI ROCK (3) - boxed first. Came up with the lid and was slow to jump. MR FESTUS (6) - jostled with ALHAMBRA prior to exiting the bend. GOLDSTAR NOLAN (7) - slow early. ALHAMBRA (8) - jostled with MR FESTUS prior to exiting the bend.
Race 3	2022 Springston Hotel Galaxy Sprint Heat 3 - C5q - 295 Heat 3	MIGHTY MCCOOK (1) - contacted from the outside in the run to the bend being forced down the track and onto the hindquarters of ALTERNATE SHOT. ALLEGRO GINNY (2) - crowded and forced to check losing ground when entering the bend causing a subsequent check to MAISEY. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. ALTERNATE SHOT (3) - contacted from the outside early stages losing its footing for a stride. Forced down onto MIGHTY McCOOK in the run to the bend before racing on this runner's hindquarters becoming unbalanced and dragged down. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a spike wound on its left fore pad with a 5 day incapacitation issued. MAISEY (4) - contacted ALTERNATE SHOT early stages. Severely checked entering the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. OPAWA BARNS (5) - shifted down the track in the run to the bend forcing ALTERNATE SHOT down onto MIGHTY McCOOK before having its hindquarters raced on. GOLDSTAR ANGE (7) - slow early. Hampered entering the bend.
Race 4	2022 Springston Hotel Galaxy Sprint Heat 4 - C5q - 295 Heat 4	RITZA ALERT (1) - shifted up the track rounding the bend. LITTLE NOSEY (2) - shouldered with MASTER ARAMIS in the run to the bend. Heels clipped entering the bend. GOLDSTAR RICKY (3) - boxed first. Clipped the heels of LITTLE NOSEY entering the bend. MASTER ARAMIS (4) - shouldered with LITTLE NOSEY in the run to the bend.
