Race 4	Happy Birthday Pam Hurd PBD Dash - C1 - 295	ADOBE UNDERWORLD (1) - slow away. Coursed wide entering the home straight. HOMEBUSH LAUREN (2) - tightened entering the home straight. PUKEKO LIGHTS (5) - began awkwardly. Placed in restricted room entering the bend, losing ground as a result. WILD THYME (6) - tightened HOMEBUSH LAUREN entering the home straight. Race 5	Kolorful Kanvas Distance - C1/2d - 645	Stewards inspected the area of the track shortly after the 645 metres start after HERE'S TEARS faltered free of interference sustaining a gracilis muscle rupture and found it satisfactory to continue racing. CENTURION (1) - OPAWA CHRISSY (2) - bumped NIGHTHAWK STYLE shortly after the start. NIGHTHAWK STYLE (4) - bumped shortly after the start. HERE'S TEARS (8) - faltered free of interference shortly after the start and pulled up and was caught near the catching area. Referred to the OTV and found to have a ruptured right gracillis muscle with a 42 day stand down recommended. Required to complete an injury trial prior to racing again.
Race 6	Steve Anngow Drapes & Blinds Ph0272719588 PBD Dash - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH ABBY (2) - boxed first. IDOL HIT (5) - slow away. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend, contacting HOMEBUSH THEO from behind, becoming unbalanced and losing ground. Contacted KING KONG BLONDE from behind entering the home straight. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. HOMEBUSH THEO (6) - contacted from behind entering the bend, becoming unbalanced, bumping REPLICA ROSCO. Severely squeezed between runners entering the home straight, losing ground. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. KING KONG BLONDE (7) - squeezed HOMEBUSH THEO entering the home straight, then contacted from behind. REPLICA ROSCO (8) - bumped entering the bend, becoming unbalanced and losing some momentum. Race 7	Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C1 - 520	DROUGHT (1) - tightened entering the first bend needing to switch up the track to gain clear racing room contacting MULBERRY QUEEN from behind and bumping KNOW AUTHORITY as a result. Raced wide through the back straight. MULBERRY QUEEN (2) - tightened DROUGHT entering the first bend. Tightened entering the final bend, losing ground. KNOW AUTHORITY (4) - bumped entering the first bend, in turn heavily contacting IDOL TAYLA and losing ground. KNOW HURRY (5) - awkwardly placed on heels when attempting to improve entering the bend, becoming unbalanced, losing ground and moving up the track. Raced wide through the home straight. IDOL TAYLA (7) - heavily contacted entering the first bend, becoming very unbalanced and losing ground. Awkwardly placed on heels when attempting to improve between runners on the point of the bend. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. STONE SOBER (9/3) - slow away. Tightened MULBERRY QUEEN entering the final bend.
Race 8	Dyna Elwyn @ Stud PBD Dash - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH RETA (3) - slight contact from behind shortly after the start. MUSTARD CUSTARD (5) - bumped shortly after the start, then contacted HOMEBUSH RETA from behind. Buffeted nearing the bend becoming unbalanced and losing ground. Coursed wide entering the home straight. IMPRESSIVE AMY (6) - boxed first. Bumped MUSTARD CUSTARD shortly after the start, then buffeted that runner nearing the bend. DAISY BEE (7) - slow away.
Race 9	Selwyn-Rakaia Vet Services Stakes - C1/2 - 520	OPAWA WEB (1) - boxed first. Slow away. Contacted PALESA BALE from behind nearing the first bend. PALESA BALE (3) - tightened nearing the winning post on the first occasion. Contacted from behind nearing the bend, then again entering the bend. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. GOLDSTAR TOBY (6) - tightened PALESA BALE nearing the winning post on the first occasion. GOLDSTAR SPENCER (7) - began awkwardly settling at the rear of the field. Contacted PALESA BALE entering the bend.
Race 10	Suck It Up Ltd PBD Sprint - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH SABRE (1) - bumped nearing the home straight. GOLDSTAR NOODLE (2) - boxed first. Went up with the lids, settling at the rear of the field. Bumped HOMEBUSH SABRE when improving to the inside of that runner nearing the home straight. MITCHAM GINNY (4) - shouldered with SCHEFFLER through the bend. JUST STAGGER (5) - appeared awkward in his action over the concluding stages. Referred to the OTV and found to have a partial tear in right gracillis muscle with a 42 day stand down recommended. Required to complete an injury trial prior to racing again. OPAWA LILLY (6) - slow away. Raced wide for the majority of the event. SCHEFFLER (7) - shouldered with MITCHAM GINNY through the bend.
Race 11	Racing Again Thursday 27 October PBD Dash - C1 - 295	GOLDSTAR VARGAS (1) - tightened entering the bend. WILL'S PRODIGY (2) - bumped IMPRESSIVE CHARM shortly after the start. Awkwardly placed behind runners entering the bend, losing some momentum. SILKY SKYLAR (3) - tightened GOLDSTAR VARGAS entering the bend, losing ground as a result. HOMEBUSH GRACEN (4) - moved up the track shortly after the start bumping HOMEBUSH MAGGIE. Tightened on the point of the bend. Tightened and had to switch across heels entering the home straight. Raced wide through the home straight. IMPRESSIVE CHARM (5) - awkwardly placed behind runners entering the bend. Referred to the OTV following an incident at the lure with a laceration to the left front elbow and superficial scratch to the head with a 5 day stand down recommended. HOMEBUSH MAGGIE (6) - bumped shortly after the start. GORILLA'S SMILE (7) - jostled, briefly, with CAITHNESS shortly after the start. CAITHNESS (8) - jostled, briefly, with GORILLA'S SMILE shortly after the start. Tightened HOMEBUSH GRACEN on the point of the bend and again entering the home straight.
Race 12	Rose & Thistle Sprint - C2 - 295	AMURI LUCK (1) - moved up the track shortly after the start squeezing MISS ROWDY, then unbalanced entering the bend bumping MISS ROWDY. Raced wide through the latter stages of the bend and the home straight. MISS ROWDY (3) - bumped LET'S GO YOYO at the start. Squeezed between runners entering the bend, then bumped losing ground. GOLDSTAR YANKEE (5) - slow away. KNOW GLOATING (7) - bumped GOLDSTAR DYNASTY shortly after the start. Inconvenienced on the point of the bend. GOLDSTAR DYNASTY (8) - bumped shortly after the start.
